Chapter 4

Destiny's POV 

     Demi suggested that we should go to the mall and hang out, have some girl time. This was also a great time for Demi to get to know me a bit better.

"When we get out the car, hold my hand babe because there will be paparazzi. If you feel uncomfortable at anytime just let me know and we can go home." said Demi.

     I nodded my head and we got out the car. Things where pretty chill until we got into the mall. Swarms of lovatics, screaming and chanting Demi's name.

    "I'm going to sign some autographs and take some pictures, just sit on the bench over there and don't move." 

     It was so weird to think, that i used to be one of those girls, obsessing over Demi, and now I'm technically her daughter. I loved how much she cared for her fans. She was so kind and genuine. Rare. 

     "Sorry I took so long, is there any store you want to go to? Ill buy you anything you want."

     I thought for a bit. "We can go into any store... but Hot Topic." I feel my checks turning red. " I have a fear of that store.." 

     Demi let out a little chuckle. "Awh thats so cute! I promise we won't go in there." 

     Demi took my hand and we went into a few stores. I felt bad, so i made sure she didn't get me too many things. She bought me a pink crop sweater, a few hoodies, some shorts and some makeup. 

   We left the mall and hopped into the car. "What do you want for dinner Destiny?"

     "Anything is fine!"I said with a smile. 

     "What about some Mexican food!" Demi said while licking her lips.

     "Of course! I know thats your favourite."

    Demi giggled. "of course you do. What's your favourite food?" she asked

     "uhm I  love Japanese, but i haven't had it in a while because we didn't get any 'good food' at the foster home." I sighed. The thought of that place made me so depressed. I hated it.

     "wanna get some Japanese then? It's probably a bit healthier anyways."

    "sure !"  I was so excited. 

   Demi and I went to this sushi restaurant called "Ikki Umi Sushi." It was pretty good. 

"Destiny hun, i forgot to tell you, tomorrow we will be going to Texas so you can meet the rest of your family." 

   I nearly choked when she said "your family". 

"we are only going for one night, so when we go home we can pack your clothes."

  "Im kinda scared Mom- I mean Demi."     

I called Demi Mom.. Hopefully she didn't hear me. It slipped.

    Demis eyes widened. " You just called me MOM! You're adorable! say it again!"

    It was kinda funny how excited Demi was. "Mom."  I laughed 

    Demi squealed and reached across the table and pinched my cheeks.

     "So, you where saying? " she said.

"Im scared, what if they don't like me or what if-"   

Demi placed her finger on my lip and hushed me. 

"Hush baby.  They will love you. I promise." Demi gave me a reassuring smile.

" Is Nick coming?" I asked.
