ever since maya got back she has been acting very distant from all of us, i mean i don't blame her, but will we ever get the old wonderful maya back.

she's quiet now, and she doesn't seem sad, she just seems so nervous all the time. she only smiles sometimes, and she is very self conscious, and i miss the old maya, but i was determined to get her back.

the whole group would visit after school, and check on her and we had sleepovers sometimes but i would always sleepover, topanga checked on her during the day and brought her food.

I miss maya so much, i had her but she was gone at the same time. people change, for many reasons good and bad.

maya has been through so much, she didn't deserve any of it really she is an amazing, beautiful bright person. stuff happens to everyone, it changes them.

maya may be different, but i was determined to get the smiley, sarcastic, wonderful maya back.

it was late at night maya and me were watching pll, old habits die hard.

she was cuddling with me, when i said, "lets go star gazing, like we used to." maya stared at me, and nodded, yes.

we went to our old place in central park, it was a cloudy night it looked like rain.

11:16 pm

we layed on the grass, maya staring at the sky, thoughtful always.

maya may have changed but she is still thoughtful, i can never tell what she is thinking.

i stared at her, like the past, she stares at the sky and i stare at her effortless beauty.

she started laughing, an old maya laugh, i laughed at her joyfull laugh and then said, "why are you laughing?"

she smiled, her old smile, and said, "because you haven't changed, you stare at my thoughtfulness, like always."

i smiled, and i saw the old maya.

she closed her eyes and put her head on my stomach, i kissed her forhead, then it bagan to rain i picked up maya, held her like a little baby in my arms and carried her home.

when we got home we both went to bed feeling something we both haven't felt lately happiness.

things were finally changing for the better.
