The Light That Cant Be Found

the dream

" I am running at a speed i didn't know i could reach and then i stop fully aware of whats coming next.

I black out and wake up in a small box that i cant fully stand up in and start to panic. I slide to the ground and curl in a ball.I feel wetness and stand up in a rush and realize that water is filling up the box and is already at my knees.

I search for a way to escape and the box turns clear.I look around and find a man sitting in a chair a few feet away. He has a big grin plastered on his face and is staring intensely at me with daring almond brown eyes. He gets up and i stumble away from him. I realize that the water is halfway up my stomach."Hey there tiger, not so feisty now are you."The water is now up to my chin...nose..."

I wake up to someone shaking me and yelling"Victoria!"I open my eyes to see my little sister staring down at me with big round eyes."are...are you okay?"she asks."Im fine ...really"i assure her

She leaves the room quietly and closes the door.I fall back asleep only to wake up to the sound of my phone going off and i hit random buttons and finally get it after a few trys.

I pull myself out of my bed and head to the bathroom. I splash water on my face to wake myself up. I look in the mirror and try to brush my wild hair into place.I give up and just put it in a high pony tail. I dress into some black skinny jeans and a purple silk shirt with purple converse.

I look out the window and am mesmerized by the pink,orange and yellows of the sky as the sun is just at the break of dawn.

"Victoria!"and i snap back to reality. I hurry and grab my book bag and dash down stairs and am delighted by the smell french toast.I walk into the kitchen to see my mom cooking my favorite breakfast... French toast."well,good morning, sleepy head finally decided to wake up."

I gave my mom a quick hug and snuck a piece of french toast.I sat down at the breakfast table and was about to bite into my french toast when my mom came and snatched it away."you know the deal...no eating until is all finished."she said.I groaned obviously annoyed by the statement.

I hear a honk and yell a quick bye as i run to my best friends car.I hop in and sit down with a big thud."what happened to you"she asked."nothing"i said clearly not convincing her.
She glanced my way a few times before i finally gave in."Valerie,you need to stop looking at me and pay attention to the road"i said.She hit the breaks hard and i jerked forward only to look up to see a red sign and i let out a breath i didnt know i was holding.

"OMG,Valerie, we almost died."
We started to drive off again and i look over and study Valerie's face only to see her blank expression like these things happen all the time.

We pull up to school and get out.we pass all the group's, jocks,nerds,art freaks,video gamers,random people,but the most important group...the cheerleader's.

I don't think im ugly ,im actually pretty with my brown eyes and long coffee colored hair.Im fifteen and in tenth grade.im short for my age but that just makes it easier to blend in with the crowd.

I stop at my locker and start to unpack my books.I turn to see a pair of eyes on me.They are the sharpest, deepest blue i have ever seen.He flashes me a smile that will leave any other girl blushing but not me i just flash a small smile back and head to class.Those deep blue eyes still on my mind.
