Scarlett's POV
Justin quickly got in his car, I watched him drive out of the parking lot looking furious.... I just stood there in shock to the events that just happened a minute ago. "What the hell!?"
I heard a familiar voice, snapping me out of my thoughts I looked behind me to see Kate.... Shit I'm dead "Scarlett where the hell have you been?! You disappeared for the SECOND time!" She looked super pissed, I wanted to tell her the truth but I didn't want to scare her.
"I-I was feeling sick and I got a ride home..." I felt terrible lying to her but I didn't have much of a choice, "Scar your stuttering, you always do that when your nervous!" Damn she caught me.
"Where were you really?" Well lying was out of the question, now I'm stuck with stalling her and praying she forgets by the end of the day. "I'll tell you later, we should get to class." "Erg... Fine but this isn't over!" She gave me a death glare for a minute then strayed walking inside the building. I hate Mondays, I pulled my backpack strap up onto my shoulder and walked inside.
I had about three minutes till class started, I ran to my locker upstairs and got my history book. I shut my locker and went to my history class, it was my least favorite suspect behind math. Oh how much I hated math not only was I terrible at it but I sat next to this stupid jock Tyler.
He was just so full of himself and thought he could get any girl he wanted, though most girls did throw themselves at him I was practically the only girl who didn't want him.
He flirts with every girl even though he's dating the head cheerleader Abby. She was pretty and she was really sweet, I don't know what she sees in a guy like Tyler.
I sat down at my desk next to Tyler, he was talking to some of his friends from the basketball team about some party Wednesday, I hated going to party's and clubs.
You can see why considering my last two experiences at clubs, I liked staying in my room just away from it all. Really I wasn't away from it ALL, my dad has been hitting me for a couple years now since my moms death... Every day he would come home drunk and I knew not to piss him off. "So Scarlett you gonna come to the party Wednesday night?' I turned around and faced Tyler and his friends, "I don't think so." I then realized what I just said... I said the same thing awhile ago to Justin, seeing him all mad like that scared me.
He was never like that to me then again I didn't know him really, I felt bad for laughing at him like that but why would he think I like him after we just met. "Why you need a date?" He winked at me, I suddenly felt very uncomfortable "Um n-no it's just that I-I don't really like parties and stuff like t-that." I wanted this conversation to just end!
"Pleasee it's gonna be really fun, plus Ill be there" he winked again. Is he flirting with me!? Isn't he dating Abby, besides since when did he like me? "I- I can't." He leaned in closer to me "Please" he whispered in my ear, I felt his warm breath on my neck making my whole body shiver. "O-ok" why did I just agree!? My dad is not going to let me go...
He smiled and turned back to his friends, this day just gets better and better doesn't it? *** The bell rang and I packed up my notes and my phone, I waled outside waiting for the my bus.
Then I saw him.
Justin's POV I parked my car in his drive way, I opened the door knowing its unlocked. Ryan was sitting on the couch in his living room watching tv, "Hey Justin what brings you here?" I walked over to the couch and sat next to him, trying to calm down I sighed heavily and looked at Ryan. "So there's this girl.." I was interrupted when Ryan screamed "OH JUSTIN HAS A GIRLFRIEND JUSTIN HAS A GIRLFRIEND!!!" I glared at him "She's NOT my girlfriend!" I got up and went in the kitchen, I slammed my fist into the wall. Dammit!!
