The music was eardrum shakingly loud and continued with no intention of stopping anytime soon. The floor shook under the force of the bodies clustered and cramped onto the makeshift dancefloor.

I watched from the stairway. The dancing kids were strangely appealing. But I didn't feel drawn to them the way I felt that I should have been. The combination of the music and the alcohol made the kids giddy and wild. The boundaries were non existent and the possibilities were endless.

I watched a rather attractive boy and girl push themselves away from the mass of bodies and stumble towards the stairs. Their intentions were obviously not sin free tonight.

I immediately scooted over to the far side of the step so that I was pressed against the wall, their slow and clumsy progress up the stairs was not going to be interrupted by me.

Staying invisible at an invent like this was necessary as well as the most appealing option. The music was starting to give me a headache and the smell of booze was making me woozy.

I needed to get outta here but my ride was still caught somewhere in the throng of people. I made my way carefully down the steps being careful to avoid any stray cups tossed aside and the sticky puddles that usually accompanied them.

The bodies thrummed with energy the music fueling them to the point of breaking, their fatigue held at bay by the alcohol. An endless battle till dawn.

I pushed through them, avoiding the sharp elbows and knees that somehow seemed to find their way close to my body.

Where the hell was Hanna. I spotted a head of blond curls bobbing up and down to the beat and I immediately started pushing and shoving my way over.

However I immediately turned around when I realized the blond head of hair belonged to someone else. A very open someone, who left nothing to imagination and danced with nothing to hide.

The air was starting to get heavy and it was getting hard to breath, the smoke from weed clouded my nostrils.

I looked for an escape through the bodies. I was about to make headway and commence my painfully slow search for Hanna, when a hand came outta nowhere and grabbed my arm.

I whipped my head around prepared to fight anyone for the possession of my arm, but then let out a sigh of relief as I caught sight of a familiar face.

"Derick", I grinned. " Isobel", he smiled matching mine. "This isn't really your scene", he stated. " To tell you the truth I'm pretty surprised to see you"!

"Ya well, you know Hanna, I swear to God that girl has a will of steal. She would not let me no go. She literally held on to my leg until I agreed to come." I moaned.

He laughed. "Speaking of Hanna, have you seen her?" I asked hopefully?

"Oh, ya actually I have!"

I perked up.

"I saw her head upstairs" he said nodding his head in the direction of my previous seet.

I groaned knowing that whatever I had to get her out of would not top the hangover very well the next morning, leaving me with having to deal with the monster.

There was no way in hell her parents would let her in the house looking like this.

"Thx" I mumbled and stalked towards the stairs.

I jogged up the stairs hopping that whatever Hanna was only be starting and would be easily reversed before it was too late.

I reached the first landing and looked down just in time to leap over a puddle of vomit lying wait for me at the top of the stairs.

"Thank God" my shoes are saved.

Before I could properly celebrate I looked up to see a girls running full speed right at me.

The girl looked as though she was being chased by the devil. There was a haunted look in her eyes as though the world was falling apart. Her clothes were ripped and dirt covered the large expanse of skin exposed to the world.

Her right arm, fully exposed, was home to the most beautiful tattoo I had ever seen.

The woman who was the main photo depicted in the tattoo was stunning and her eyes held the same sadness as portrayed on the girl.

They were so different but they're eyes are what linked them and gave them a shocking resemblance.

The girl shook with terror, she looked as pale as a sheet.

Holy crap! What the f*ck was happening?

I stood there staring at her. I didn't have to wait to long because she rammed into me and we both tumbled down the wood stairs. My nose was hit by a painfully sharp elbow and I felt the blood explode onto my shirt.

Our painful descent was soon interrupted by the unforgiving wood floor and I lay on the cold boards moaning.

I held my nose trying to suppress the bleeding and I looked around. The music had stopped and every single person in the house stared at us.

Me.

I corrected myself as I saw that all that remained of the girl was a small pool of red blood.

Normally all the attention would bother me but I didn't even notice it as I looked around for the girl with the beautiful tattoo.
