2 ~ Birthday Present

Chapter 2 ~ Birthday present

A few weeks had past since you moved, your stuff had been set out and it was close to your birthday, July 26th. (If that's not your birthday then just pretend it is ^w^" mines not on July 26th X3 it's on February 25th)

You had invited a few of your old friends over for a small get together, what you weren't expecting was gifts.

(K, your friends names in this are gonna be: Justice, Claire, Lareta, and Shandoa)

"What is that Claire?" You asked as the brunette handed you a long, thick box.

"It's a gift, I hope you like it!"

You slid your finger against the smooth wrapping and started to tare at it. After ripping the bright blue wrapping paper off you through the wrapping paper to the side.

"You know you could have just taped the box right?" You said jokingly the Claire.

The lid of the box was red as the base of it was dark blue with writing on it saying: from: Claire, to: (y/n).

You opened the box to reveal an old torn up Good Guy doll, his face was ripped, stitched, and stapled in different places, his clothes were torn and his hair was a complete mess.

"You know that old movie you used to watch all the time? Well, I found a doll online that looked exactly like him for only 20 bucks! So, do you like it..?"

"Like it..?" Claire bit her lip lightly, awaiting your response. "I love it! Thank you so much, you have no idea how much I wanted this doll!"

"Well I'm glad you like it." Claire said, sighing. "Also, Justice, Lareta, and Shandoa got you something too!"

Justice smiled and pulled out a small box from behind his back, Shandoa took out a gift bag out of her purse and Lareta slid a small cage containing a puppy over to you.

"Oh guys, you shouldn't have," you said while covering your mouth and smiling like an idiot.

"But we did anyway!" They all said at the same time.

You felt as if you were gonna cry but held it back. Lareta slid the cage over to you and you opened it, a small 7 month old boarder collie puppy came scurrying out of the open cage.

"Lareta, it's absolutely adorable!" The puppy jumped up and licked your face until you picked it up and rubbed your nose against the puppies nose. "I think I'll call you, (puppies name)!"

The puppy barked in excitement and jumped out of your arms.

The rest if your friends handed you your gifts, Justices gift was a necklace with a star that had your birthstone in the middle, and Shandoas gift was a beg of white chocolates.

After saying goodbye to your friends you picked up the doll that was given to you and tilted your head, you were gonna test it out.

"Hey there, what's your name?" You asked, even though you already knew the dolls name.

"Hi! I'm Chucky! Wanna play?" The doll spoke.

You grinned, seeing that it worked. You wondered if it was the real doll, nah, it's just a cheap replica off of eBay, right?

After setting Chucky down you went upstairs to get ready for bed.
