Chapter 4

Dawns pov.
I had been in season many times and my hatchling had hatched she was a young female and I had mates with no one at all but me and Drake had become mates after my last heat and I had a feeling that next time I was in heat I would mate with him.
Skip time to Dawn in heat.
I was in heat again and I think it is time that I finally mated.
"Hey Drake can I talk with you alone for a while?" I asked.
"Sure thing Dawn," Drake said. He followed me to a small clearing where we barely fit so no predators would be able to find us or even the pack.
"So I was wondering if you would........" I trailed when he silenced me.
"You want me to mate with you I know you showed signs of nervousness back at the nesting grounds and your hatchling Misty is old enough to hunt now and we are mates and I would do anything you wanted me to," said Drake.
"Thanks Drake and I have a hard time trying not to mate with males because my heat is getting worse and I need a mate," I said.
A few hours later.
I was now in egg with Drake because I allowed him to mate with me so he was going to be a father but what I didn't know was that a much stronger more experienced male was hiding and watching us.
Mystery raptors pov.
I watched as the female trotted after her mate and I knew next time she would be mine and mine only, she was a lovely specimen and she would make great children of mine even if they were strange coloured because I was a dark blue raptor with faint black markings that I needed to refresh soon or I would be a stupid thought to be loner who left his pack. I went to a river and found the stuff to remark my markings, i soon had black stripes on my leg again so now all I had to do was wait.
Dawns next heat.
I could smell the female was in heat so I followed her to a river bank and found her drinking, I jumped and grabbed her, I dragged her back to my nesting grounds and mounted her.
A few hours later.
I had mates with her successfully and her mate would never have know unless he smelled me on her so I shoved her in a pile of muddy water so my scent was gone then chased her off.
"Tell your pack of me and what I did they will all die!" I roared and she ran.
