Dawns pov.
I woke to find myself in a soft nest and realised I was in Ruthless's nesting grounds, I went for a walk before I would be trapped by the pack when I had my eggs. I soon went back and felt sharp pains through my gut and a few minutes later had an egg by my side, I looked at the egg and knew it was my former packs child as well as mine, I would have to tell the hatchling its father died so it wouldn't go looking for him.
"I see you hade your egg," said Ruthless coming over.
"Yeah I hope it's a girl though and if it is a girl her name would be Aroura," I said. A male raptor came into the nesting grounds and saw he was jet black with a blue stripe on his ankle to show he was alpha male. Ruthless stood up and walked over to him.
"What brings you here Drake?" Asked Ruthless.
"I wish to join the packs together so we can share our hunting grounds plus it would only be fair if we had a change of pace," said Drake.
"I have a feeling you want the orange female," huffed Ruthless.
"I couldn't stop thinking about her when I saw her and you talking," said Drake looking at the ground.
"If it's fine with Dawn it's fine with me," said Ruthless looking at me. I nodded and Ruthless looked at Drake.
"She will go with you but stay out of our lands and the humans stay with us ok," said Ruthless. Drake nodded and we left the nesting grounds.
Drakes pov.
"Score!" I thought to myself.
"Why is it you want me in your pack?" Asked Dawn.
"Well we need more members in the pack and you are an unusual raptor but so am I," I said.
"Ok but my egg is forced and I will go away for my next mating season for I do not trust this pack yet," Dawn said.
"I know you may not trust the pack but this is my pack all alpha males and females have blue stripes on their ankles," I said. I saw that Dawn had blue stripes and so did I.
I was starting to hate walking I mean I had an egg with me and I needed to protect it but the alpha male Drake said that my alpha markings meant that I wasn't allowed to play with the hatchlings, this made me yell at him more and more. I hated his guts that was until I knew I was in season so I ran away and he sadly followed me.
"And where do you think you are going?" He asked once we were a while away from the pack. He was looking at me with concern on his face.
"It's nothing really," I said trying to hide my heat scent. Sadly he smelled it before I could hide it.
"Your in heat I can smell it from here is that why you ran?" Asked Drake.
"Yeah so what," I said growling softly.
"Easy tiger I won't do anything funny," Drake said putting his head down.
"You better not," I growled showing my teeth.
