Let the story begin (how we met)

Chapter 2

                   Molly stared off the story, "It all started 3 years ago when we were 13...."

~~~Flash Back 3 years ago~~~

The 3 mermaids were at Atlantis' famous park, where Lizzy brought her pet catfish to play. "Max, how's your dogfish doing?" Lizzy asked, "He's doing fine, just lazy to get out the door," he replied with a giggle. Mermaids lived in big shells with lots of room in it, or abandon pirate ships. "Where's Molly? She was suppose to meet us here with the migration forms," Lizzy asked, "Seriously, didn't you know that Molly always get detracted by adventure stuff," Max gave her a look, "Wow, I almost forgot that," Lizzy said. Moments later, they saw Molly swimming as fast as she can with the forms in her hand, "S-sorry I'm late, I was chasing a starfish away, cause you know, they aren't welcomed here, then there was a crab that-" she said, but couldn't finish, Lizzy cut her off, "As long as your here, with the forms, you're fine," she said with a smile. The 3 of them sat on a bench with each of the forms and a map of the world. "OK, where should we visit next?" Max asked as he took hold of the map, "How about the Caribbean?" Molly asked, "We been there like 4 times this year," Lizzy reminded, "I call Paris," Max said, "5 times this year," Lizzy corrected once more. "How about, the city that never sleeps!?" Molly asked this time with more confident, "You mean.....New York City?" Lizzy asked, "Yeah let's go there!" Max agreed. With that agreement, they filled out the forms to where they must go and they all went home to get ready. At Molly's house, she ensured that she put enough snail slime on her lovely light blue tail, just in case something tries to grab her, she can easily slip free. Max tried not to over feed his dogfish, "Be good now Buddy," he said as he petted him. Lizzy did the same as she petted her catfish Katie, "I'll be back in a week," she promised. The 3 mermaids meet up at the gate of Atlantis. "Ready guys?" Molly asked, they shook their heads "Yes", "Well let's go," she continued as they flapped their tails, and NYC was a 3 hour swim away.

~~~End of Flash back~~~

"Wow, luckily you guys can only start visiting the world at the age of 10," Donnie said. "Yup lucky us," Max replied. "OK, your turn turtles, what happened the same time period? If you can remember," Molly giggled. Leo started them off, "We were in the lair training I believe at that time...."

~~~Flash Back continued~~~

"Very good my sons, you seem to improve more and more each day, you are dismissed," Master Splinter said, as he walked to his room. "Alright dudes, what now?" Mikey said as he threw himself in the couch, "Let's patrol," Leo suggested, "Well, that's gonna be boring," Mikey said with a frowned, "Well, let's patrol near the docks, I heard that some people are being dragged to that area being robbed," Donnie said, "Sounds good to me," Ralph said. The turtles made their way to the docks, and they made their way up on the crates. In the distance, Mikey swore he saw tails in the water, he just thought of dolphins. Not too long, the turtles saw some men with barrels of oil, "Are they gonna pollute the sea?" Mikey wondered, "Well if so, let's stop them," Leo said getting his katanas ready. "If ain't the Purple Dragons," Ralph said, "Fong! Pour the barrel!" one of the men said, "Ralph stop him!" Leo ordered.

Mermaids P.O.V

"Wow, looks like we got some entertainment," Molly pointed out, "Are those...turtles??" Max freaked out, "Mutant turtles, looks like their trying to stop some men from polluting our sea," Molly thought, "Maybe we should thank them after their done," Lizzy suggested,  "What?! have you lost your tail? You're just gonna swim up to them and say "Thank You"?" Max worried, "Yup, after all, they are turtles," Molly smirked as she Lizzy swam closer to the docks. Max always tries his best not to get into trouble, he then flapped his dark green tail to join them under the bridge (dock). "Wow, they look better up close," Molly said, "Good thing we came here, if they save our sea, no one would have thanked them," Lizzy added, Max shook his said. The turtles finally stopped the gang with their mischief. "Now, don't ever try to pollute the sea again!" Leo threatened as the gang ran away. "This ain't over freaks!," one of them said as they ran off. "Did one of them called them freaks? Now that is just rude, after the helped the sea life," Molly protested, "Yeah!" Lizzy said. "Oh my gosh..." Max said shaking his head. "Guys, let's just chill here for a bit," Mikey said, "Yeah, I need to rest a bit," Donnie said. "Hear that? They are right above us," Max said, "Good now we can thank them," Molly said, "Max is right Molly, we can't go near land people," Lizzy said, "But they are turtles, they came from the seas, and every sea creature must be rewarded," Molly replied saying a statement from the mermaid rule book. "OK, you tell them," Lizzy said to Molly, "Fine wish me luck," she said as she swam up.

Turtles P.O.V

"You guys hear that?" Mikey asked, "Hear what?" Leo asked him, "I don't know, like water," he replied, Ralph slapped him, "We are above water!" he shouted at him, "Ralph, Mikey is right, I hear like flapping in the water, and fish don't come here a this time of year," Donnie said. As they turtles looked over the docks under them, they saw a girl chocolate brown hair. "Umm, Miss, you aren't suppose be in the water now," Leo said, "Really? cause I live here in the ocean," Molly said, "I'm sorry what," Leo said in confusion, sh giggled then brought her tail up in front of her, "Wow! A mermaid! I knew they were real!" Mikey shouted. "I thought mermaids were a myth," Donnie said, "Nope, we are real, we just adventure the world a lot," Molly said with a smile. With that being said, Max and Lizzy came up, Mikey stared at the long red headed mermaid with bright yellow tail, Lizzy. "Nice to meet you turtles," she said in  ashy voice. Max still remains speechless. "So what brings you 3 here?" Leo asked them, "Well, we never visited the city that never sleeps, NYC, and when we came here, we saw you guys trying to protect our ocean from the oil spill, so we thank you for that," Molly explained, "Well, your welcome," Ralph said. "My names Molly, this is Lizzy and Max," she pointed at them, "I'm Leonardo and these are my brothers, Raphael, Donnatello and Michelangelo," Leo said. There was an awkward silence for a while, until Max broke, "We came here for a reason, and like we said, do you guys mind showing us around, since you saved our ocean?" he asked, "Sure thing, but you guys need feet though," Donnie said, "Way ahead of you," Lizzy said as she made her way up on the docks as well as Molly, "When our tails are dry, we get feet, we do this all the time, but we are terrible at walking still," Molly chuckled. Max joined them as well. "Wow, your tail is slippery," Mikey said touching Lizzy's tail, "Yeah, we use snail slime to keep it that way, so we can slip out of anything," she answered him, "Smart," Donnie said. Once the mermaids had feet ( they had clothes on) they tried to walk once more. Molly was about to fall back in the water, but Leo caught her, "Thanks," she said shyly, he blushed then helped her back up. "We live in the sewers, so that no one can see us," Leo said as they slowly made their way to the drain lid, "Dang it, then we can't talk," Molly said, "Why?" Donnie asked, "When mermaids are in new water like fresh and salt, we can't talk, we have to let our bodies adapt to it first," she answered, "It's OK, as long as you guys have your adventure in the city," Leo said.

~~~Flash Back Ended~~~

"And, well, that's how we met," Leo finished. "Hmm, next part! Our first adventure," Molly said excited, after all, that was her favorite part of the story. "OK, go ahead Molly," Lizzy said. "As we made our way to the sewers, the turtles told us their amazing adventures until we can talk again..."
