Under Water So Beautiful

Chapter 5

                   "Pff, hahaha, go underwater? We can't even breathe under for that long," Ralph laughed, "You stubborn eel, we can give you a water spell that makes you breathe under water for 48 hours, as for April and Casey, we have to turn you guys into mermaids," Molly explained, "Wow, never thought of being a mermaid," Casey said, and April agreed, "Well, OK, Molly, we will save your home," Leo gladly said, "Well then everyone on the water!" Lizzy demanded. Once there all in water, Molly did her thing to the turtles first, "Hmm, I don't feel anything," Mikey said opening his eyes, Lizzy then dived on top of Mikey pushing him down in the water, "Wow dudes!! I'm breathing under water this is so cool!!" he yelled in the water, the turtles joined him, "OK April, you first, what color tail?" Molly asked, "Orange please," she asked nicely, "and you Casey, what color?" Molly asked him, "Hmm, let's see, Black," he asked for. Molly said some weird stuff in her mermaid language, and with the blink of an eye, April and Casey were mermaids, they then suddenly sunk under, and Molly joined them. "OK, you guys need a swimming practice first," Max said to the new mermaids. After a 3 minute practice, everyone started to venture the sea all the way to where Atlantis disappeared. "Wow, these clams are beautiful," April said as she put her finger near it, which suddenly snapped, "*Giggles* yeah, some are very aggressive, watch out for eels and piranhas and such though," Max warned. Mikey swam faster up to Lizzy, "Hey Mikey," she smiled, "Hey Liz, so, what does the Sharktapus guy look like anyways?" he asked, "Hmm, well, the head of a shark down to it's stomach, then as feet, or tail, he has tentacles, 20 of them though!" she said, "Wow, can't wait to meet him," Mikey said, "Trust me, you don't," she smiled. Leo swam up to Molly by her side, which her blush a little. They have swimming for 4 hours, just one more to go, "Man, moving my legs up and down is getting tiring," Ralph complained, "Oh, fine, 15 minute break?" Max suggested, everyone fell the the sea floor. April was messing with her tail, she wanted to enjoy the moment while she had it, even her hair kinda extended. "Think mermaid life is great huh?" Molly asked her as she lay down beside her, "Yeah, it's so beautiful down here, even the angel fish are lovely," April replied, "Trust me, it's not," Molly said sadly, "Want to talk about it?" April asked, "Hmm, not really, but thanks," she replied, April knew that it would be best to talk to the turtles about it, cause she thinks it had to deal with humans like her. "Max, what do mermaids eat, if you don't mind," Donnie asked, "Well, we eat the dangerous sea creatures, like sharks, killer whales, starfishes and crabs, we kill the dangerous and let the kind ones live," he answered, "Hmm, what if a dangerous fish changes its mind?" Donnie added to his question, "Honestly, we never encountered that before, once a dangerous creature always a dangerous creature," Max said. 15 minutes past and they started to swimming again.

~~~Leo's P.O.V~~~

Molly's tail is so beautiful, nice light blue. We should be getting close to Atlantis, cause it looks like Mikey is gonna pass out again, "We're here," I heard Molly's voice. Me and my brothers weren't surprise, cause it was just a plain sea floor with no Atlantis, "Yeah, I know, not surprised, don't worry, when we save it, then you guys will be amazed," Lizzy said. "OK, so, where is the abyss?" I asked, "A bit further down, but we have to pass rough waters, which should be kinda easy," Molly said, "Yeah, easy for mermaids," Raph said folding his arms, "Don't worry, you'll live," she replied. We continued to follow the mermaids, until we hit the rough waters. "How do we get past?" I asked, "Just flap your feet or tail and move forward," Max said, disappearing into the rough waters. "Well, he's on he urge for something, let's go!" Lizzy said entering, "Man, mermaids are so risky," Raph said. When, me and my brothers entered, we kinda struggled at first. "Where's Mikey?" I think I heard Donnie shouted, "He p-probably made it!" I tried the yell, the current was really strong, as if we are being in the Titanic movie or something. When I made it out, I was by myself, "Hello? Guys?" I shouted for like a minute. Someone's hand touched my shoulder which made me jump to take my katanas out, "Oh, Molly, you scared me," I said, putting my katanas back, "Hmm, sorry," she smiled, "Looks like we got separated," she continued. "We should look for them, you think going around will work?" I asked, "That will take a while, well legend does say that if you come in a group, one or two will get separated," Molly said. I just followed her. Molly is really nice, I wonder why humans want mermaids so bad, they are just delicate creatures that are peaceful helping the sea from predators. "What are you muttering about?" she giggled, I realized I was thinking aloud, "Huh, nothing nothing," I smiled.

~~~Mikey's P.O.V~~~

I was stuck with Lizzy, which is awesome! "Come on Mikey, we need to find the others before full moon, who knows what might happen," she said, "Sure, where to?" I asked, "We need swim going around it, which might take a while, sorry," she said, "Nah, I think I'm use to swimming by now," I smiled at her, she smiled back and we started to swim around the current. Her yellow is so pretty, if I only had the guts to tell her I like her,  but what the heck, I'm a turtle she's a mermaid, oh, but we are both sea creatures yay, I suddenly bumbed into her by accident, "Huh? Mikey what are you murmuring behind me," she asked looking over her shoulder, "Uh, um, that your tail is beautiful," I said not thinking what I was saying, "Thanks Mikey."

~~~Donnie's P.O.V~~~

Man, April never stops talking about her orange tail, but were swimming around the current to find the others, since we got separated, "Donnie, swim faster," she joked, "Hey, your the one with a tail, I have 2 feet that I have to flap," I shot back, she just smiled.

~~~Raph P.O.V~~~

I was with Casey, I bet Donnie is with April which is funny, cause Casey so jealous now, "I swear, if Donnie is with April-" he said but I cut him off, "You'll what? Beat him up? Not a chance," I replied, "You defending D now? OK, cool," he said joking, I gave him a playful shove, then we started to search for the others.

~~~End of Flashback~~~

"Man, this getting intense," Casey said, Mikey fell asleep on Lizzy's shoulder. "Should we continue?" Max asked while tired, "Yes, someone else tell, I need to jell my tail," Molly said jumping in the water to get a snail, "Well, while she gets back, I will continue then," Max volunteered. "I was by myself that time..."

~~~Flashback to Max P.O.V~~~

"Anyone here?" I shouted for like 2 minutes now. "Well, I'm the done who went in first so, I shouldn't be complaining. In the distance, I saw a brown her gal swimming this way, it was Molly! "Molly!" I said swimming to her, she gave me a big hug, "Hey Max," Molly smiled. "Come on guys, we must be close to the others then," Leo said. We shortly found Mikey and Lizzy, then Raph and Casey, "Yay, we are reunited again," Molly said happily. "OK, we head north, let's go," Lizzy said leading the way. We finally came across the abyss, "Wow, that's deep," Mikey said, "Well, it's called an abyss for a reason Mikey," Lizzy said, "So where is this, Sharktapus guy?" Leo asked, "Down there, very deep," I pointed out, "Some come out alive.....most never come back," I added, "Don't scare them Max!" Molly yelled at me, "It's OK, we did things like this," Donnie said. While everyone was talking, April saw something shiny at the corner of her eye, it was a pearl, an unusual pearl, she touched it then scream, "April you OK?" Casey said swimming to her, "Wow, my vision is so clear, I can hear the fish talking," she said staring in the deep ahead of us, "Oh no, she touched a pearl at full moon! Ugh, stupid barnacle full moon legend ahh!" Lizzy cursed. "But no, it's not your fault, we should have told you the basic stuff before leaving the docks," she added, "What's wrong with April then?" I asked, "She is a permanent mermaid."
