15.) Paybacks A Bitch

"Excuse me Miss can I sit here?" I look up to see my best friend and I can't help to get in a better mood and jump into his arms immediately.

"Oh my god Mateo! What are you doing here I thought you were going to Cali state." I'm still in his arms while he just holds me buy the waist and my arms are wrapped around his neck.

"I am but I decided to take a year off. College can be a pain in the ass." He chuckles

"Trust me I totally understand." I unwrap myself from his arms and take a seat. "So what are you doing here? What brings you back home?" I take a sip of my drink and I can see him look at my lips before he gives me an answer.

"Umm I actually came back to see how you were doing. I meant to call but I didn't know if you had the same number, and I came here to get some coffee. and I saw you looking lonely staring out the window. I'm like oh yea this is my chance. I thought you could seriously need my help Right now Brenna." He takes my hand and holds it on the table

"See this is why I love you. You always know when I need you, and you come at the right times. I'm so happy you're here. I smile at him and he gives me one back.

"So whats up with you. How's your sex life. Did anyone pop that cherry yet. I swear to god if anyone has touched you i'm gonna send it up." Mateo says frustratedly. looking in my eyes angrily.

"Okay first off you know i'm not like that and I won't let just anyone hit. I didn't even let you hit, what makes you think I let anyone else. Second even if I did what makes it your business anyway?"

"You know i'm very protective over you. I don't want anyone touching you but me, or someone I approve of. Why can't you understand that I care for you. Stop pushing me away when all I want is to be close." He looks me in my eyes and I can tell that he's hurt.

That's all I seem to do, Is hurt him. I can't help it. I don't like to share my feelings and I can't help that I can't read signs. But I do love him. Just not the way he wants me to. He waits and waits but I never follow.

"I'm sorry. I don't even know why you try to come back for me. I'm totally not worth you waiting for. I won't love you like you need too." I take my hand away and look down in my cup.

"Would you just shut up. I do what I want ok. If I wanted to leave I will, but I don't so hush and just let me love you." He gets up from the table walks to my side and kisses me on the lips. It's a weird kiss and it caught me off Gaurd. I don't know what to do so I just sit there and it's over.

"What the hell is going on here?!" Mateo backs away from me and I look up shocked to see  Harry.

"Oh Harry! What are you doing here?"

"I came here to get a croissant, and then I see too young people making out in the corner. I did what any responsible adult would, and I came to stop it. Then I come to find out it's one of my students. I expected more from you Brenna."

"Yea I bet you were expecting me to go down on him right." I get off the chair and fold my arms. I don't know why I'm so angry but he has some nerves.

"Just get back to the dorms. I will seek further punishment for you!" He gets angry and I can tell I better stop before I cause myself any more trouble but he hurt me so now it's time I do it back.

I reach up and kiss Mateo hard on the lips. "I do have the same number. Call me tonight." I look at Harry and storm out of the caffe.
