Stuck In The Moment

CHAPTER:2

MACK's POV:

 
  We finished at the dinner and headed as quickly as possible to school. When we arrived we all went to 1st period theatre class one of my favorites. I went to sit in my seat and someone tapped me on the shoulder. "Hey beautiful" when I turned around I saw that it was Caleb. "CALEB!" I whispered in a high pitched voice. "Oh my gosh, what are you doing here I didn't know you took theater". I was so happy he was here. "I didn't at first. But then I heard that you were taking it and I just had to join and drop out of guitar class. I can always do it after school" he said then bopped my nose with his finger and I giggled which I normally don't do. In the corner of my eye I saw Jacob just staring at me and Caleb, paying no attention to Lola who is clearly trying to talking to him.

JACOB's POV:

   "Hello EARTH to Jacob, what's your deal. I've been trying to talk to you for the past 10 minutes?". I had zoned out and payed no attention to Lola. How could she not tell me about her boyfriend? I mean I am her best friend I knew her since I was like 4. She seems so happy with that Caleb guy, I hope he treats her right! Or else I'll be the one who will make him pay. Okay that sounded a little too weird even for me. Maybe I'm jealous. But being alone does suck. After thinking for a very long time someone broke me out of my thoughts but it wasn't Lola. "Hey Jacob, do you remember me well of course you do. I'm Rossy, Rossy Hendricks the prettiest and most popular girl in school." She said then continued, "So listen I came over here to tell that I feel sorry for you. But I want you to be happy ok? I'll make you a deal" she said and we stood there in silence as everyone else around us were talking very, very loud. "What kind of deal?" I said I don't think this is going to end well for me. "I'll LET you go out with me, as long as WE can make MACK jealous". I like the fact that I will get a girlfriend out of all this.......but hurting Mack like that idk. Wait Mack has a boyfriend why would she get jealous? "Alright I'll do it only if you try to treat Mack as a friend. We can still try to make her jealous, but where we go you invite her and her boyfriend Caleb" I felt really good about this. " Oh fine, I'm having a sleepover next week I'll text you the deets. BYE JACKEY POO! xoxo". Once she said that Mack turn my way and give me a worried face. What did I do wrong.
