Kisung's POV

Tomorrow was athletes vs mathletes day, the classic spirit day I never participate in.

"Kisung-ah, what are you going to be tomorrow?? Ahh, don't tell me you're not doing it!" Jaehyun whined and pouted. She's my best friend, and also my only friend as I'm also to her.

"I am participating."

"Really?! Wahh what are you gonna be?"

"A mathlete. Cause I already am one."

"Oh." Jaehyun said in a normal but funny tone and we both burst out laughing. Jaehyun was actually currently living with me because her parents are gone for business and she has no other family in South Korea. We were relaxing in the living room talking about random stuff like this.

"Soooo..." Jaehyun started.

"So what? Ohh yeah! I have to ask you something!"

And at the time Jaehyun shouted and I shouted,

"HOW'S BAEKHYUN?!"

HOW'S CHANYEOL?!"

Chanyeol was the guy Jaehyun had a crush on. And Baekhyun, well... He's my crush.

Baekhyun and Chanyeol are best friends. Jaehyun and I are best friends. So we find it perfect to like them so we could go on double dates and stuff. But there's one problem:

They're some of the most popular guys in school. They're the MVPs of our school soccer team, and not to mention they're cute and handsome af. And Jaehyun and I are at the bottom of the social radar.

And so, neither of us have ever said a word to Baekhyun nor Chanyeol. But we crush on them from a distance.

~ THE NEXT DAY ~

I was wearing a black and white ringer tee with a pair of lightwash skinny jeans and my black nike roshe runs. My dark brown hair was in a ponytail, and I had, of course, my glasses. I slipped on my black Jansport Trans backpacks and set off for school. I really didn't like it, but I'm naturally one of the smartest students, so that's why everyone classifies me as a nerd.

"Ok everyone, take your seats," Mrs. Choi announced. I saw a lot of people dressed as nerds and athletes. I found it pretty offensive how some people took the nerd game over the top, I mean just because we're really smart doesn't mean we have to dress like that. My outfit wasn't even geeky at all, even if I'm considered one of the smartest students on campus.

"Okay, everyone in this row stand up if you're dressed like a mathtlete or an athlete." Mrs. Choi said. She was a funny teacher, but also extremely good at teaching.

The process went on until the whole class was checked for school spirit.

And with that, I didn't listen the whole lesson because I already knew everything.

But I was secretly staring at the boy in the other side of the classroom.

Byun Baekhyun.

He wasn't listening to the lesson either, instead he was chatting with his best friend Chanyeol. Although I don't think he already knew what we were being taught. I felt sorry for the guy, he was one of those dumb people in the class and just goof off and end up getting a hard scolding from the teacher. At least he's really gifted at soccer, I'm pretty sure he could get into the soccer industry in the future.
