The Summer Angel and the Lost Hunter

Chapter 14

 Summer and I opened the door to Bobby's house and grinned when we saw Sam, Dean, and Cas drinking beer with Bobby. They had been out on a hunt and weren't supposed to be back for another week. We ran over and all exchanged hugs. 

"You're back early," I stated."Yeah it turned out easier then we thought," Dean shrugged. "Which is perfect timing so we can be chaperons at that field trip," Sam pointed out. Summer and I flipped over to him. "What?" She asked. "The AVID one?" I asked with raised eyebrows. "Yup." Dean said with a smirk. "All of you?" Summer asked. They nodded.

"Yeah, except for Bobby of course, no one else would do it so your teacher sent out an email. We're the only ones," Sam smirked. He and  Dean we're smirking like crazy. They thought we would freak out or be embarrassed or something, which let's be honest is the only reason they would agree to something like this, it's obvious anyone nineteen or younger makes them uncomfortable.... besides Summer and I of course, they've gotten used to us. I looked at Summer and we had a conversation with our expressions. We gotta show em' we're not phased and they just got into something they wouldn't enjoy.

"Cool! Everyone will love you guys!" I grinned. "Oh, but when you come be prepared, they're all loud, obnoxious, and stupid and they're handfuls." Summer pointed out. "They'll be fine they hunt monsters.... The kids in our class aren't that much worse." I said. Summer just looked at me with raised eyebrows and and an opened mouth smirk that practically screamed "You really think that? Really?"

"No." She said shaking her head, "they are a lot worse." She said. I just rolled my eyes and laughed. The men's amused smirks faltered. Summer and I just laughed and headed upstairs to do our homework, secretly highfiving each other at our victory. We had these men in the palm of our hands, I swear.

 I picked up my AVID shirt and looked over it. "Hey, Summer?" I called through my open door. She opened hers, "Yeah?" She asked.

"Are you wearing your AVID shirt for the field trip?" I asked. She nodded smiling.

"Mhmm!" She exclaimed awfully cheery. 

"But it's long sleeved and it's hot outside." I said. She shrugged.

"It'll be fine." She said. I chewed my bottom lip, I don't like being hot. 

"I think I'll just wear my Paramore shirt." I said. She shrugged and we both closed our doors. After pulling on a white Paramore t-shirt, jeans, converse, and french braided my hair, I went down stairs to see the Winchester boys chowing down on Lucky Charms. 

"We should go, Mrs. Cam will probably need you guys there early." I said grabbing my backpack. Summer came down right behind me.

"Yeah." She agreed.

"You're not gonna eat?" Dean asked through a mouthful of food. I rolled my eyes.

"Don't talk  with your mouthful, and no, i'm not hungry." I said. He looked to Summer.

"I don't eat breakfast... How long have I lived with you now?" She asked. He rolled his eyes and he and Sam finished up.

"I'm so excited for the college buffet!" Summer exclaimed as we climbed the steps of the bus. 

"Dude same!" I agreed as we plopped down onto one of the seats about four rows back.

"Girls, where's your family?" Mrs. Cam asked.

"They're coming," We said at the same time.

"Jinx! Double jinx! Triple jinx! Quadruple jinx!" We exclaimed at the same time. We then proceeded to high five and get a smile and eye roll from Mrs. Cam. (Before anyone tries to say "That's cliche!" Or "That doesn't actually happen!" I would like to point out that me and one of my best friends, whom is actually named Summer, do this ALL THE TIME, no joke... It happens A LOT.)
