Eleanor's POV {At the party}
I was just chilling with Marcel until my warm brown eyes landed on a certain brunette that I needed to talk to. I walked up to her, my low-healed sandals tapping the hard pavement with each step I took. I lightly tapped her shoulder and looked at the ground. She turned and lifted my chin up.
"I'm so sorry, Veronica. I made a mist-"
"Don't say sorry to me, go find Brooklyn and tell her that" Veronica brought me into a hug and chuckled making her body vibrate. I gave her a sympathetic smile and told Marcel to come with because I knew that he wouldn't survive by himself at this wild party.
"Where are we going?"
"To find Brooklyn."
He stayed silent the only sound that we heard were raindrops on top of the car. It must've started to rain. I past the cafe that Brooklyn loves and checked if she was there. No. I continued searching, my choices becoming limited until I reached the park. I bet that she's here. It's were she "thinks" about things.
I finally found her. I desperately got out of the car and ran to the oak tree. And no one was there. The wind slightly blew my hair. I can't believe she's not here. I thought I found her. I fell to my knees on the green grass and put my hand in my hands. I need to see her blue eyes that sparkled each time I told her a joke, her petite body that gave the best hugs, her clumsiness and her amazing smartness. I needed her.
I felt a large hand fall upon my right shoulder and the figure knelled down beside me. The figure hugged me and lifted my chin. I looked into the gorgeous green orbs of Marcel but, they didn't compare to Louis's icy blue eyes that made me melt like a Popsicle.
"Don't worry, will find her. Let me drive us back to our houses"
I nodded my head and pouted. I wish I could just ask her "Can we be friends again?" Like I did in 2nd grade. But no, she's not at the park. Marcel helped me up and hugged me again. We stayed in that position for a long while, his cologne rubbing off on me, the rain messing up my natural curls. I never thought Marcel could be this kind of person. Now I know why the say, "Never judge a book by its cover". He led me back to my car, his right arm around my shoulder keeping me warm from all the little drops of rain falling on top of our heads. He helped me get in the passengers seat and quickly ran to his side. I tossed him the car keys and he flashed me a small grin. He is so perfect for Brooklyn. If I din't kiss him, they would be probably dating right now... It was silent in the car, a peaceful silence. We arrived at my house and he gave my a friendly kiss on the cheek. My hand rapidly reached for the spot that he kissed. I blushed a deep red colour as he chuckled. We said our goodbyes and I ran as fast as I could into my house. Tomorrow, for sure I'm apologizing to Brookie. It's now or never.
-Marcel's POV-
I parked my car into my driveway and took out my keys. I fumbled with the lock until, the door finally opened. I was immediately greeted by my overprotective mom hugging me and checking if I had any bumps or bruises.
"Are you ok? It's 2 o'clock in the morning!"
Is it really that late? Wow I am turning into a bad boy. Let me try out my bad boy skills on my mom.
"You don't need to check up on me! I am not a baby anymore. Why do you never do this stuff with Harry? Actually, I don't want to know!" I stormed out of the room and ran upstairs. I was pretty surprised at my tone. Is this how everybody will like me? I hope so because I'm putting a lot of effort in this. I walked past Harry's room and peeked my head threw the slightly opened creaky door. I saw a beautiful girl lying in bed with Harry, her hand on his chest and his hand holding her by the waist, keeping her closes to him. Why can't I be like Harry? Why can't I be as confident as Harry? I felt a tear trying to escape my eye. I tried hard to not let it fall, I walked away into my own room and laid on my bed and just stared at the ceiling. What do I have to do to win a girl's heart? Especially Brooklyn's heart.
I was induced into a dreamless sleep, the only thing on my mind was Brooklyn. The girl I loved ever since I laid eyes on her in the hallways, when I say her radiant smile light up the whole hallway, the way she flipped her hair got me so overwhelmed, when she smiles at the ground, all of those things are the reasons I love her. Tomorrow, I'll go shopping to buy some stuff to complete my bad boy look. I smile slowly creeped onto my face and stayed there for the rest of the night.
