(Saturday, August 6th, 2016) I am coming back to this story to make corrections. I may even add and remove some events. I'm not sure if you guys know or not but this is my very first book. Today was Kiaras 16th birthday. She had been waiting for this day forever. She was sick of being 15. Her mother and father made her a deal that when she turned 16 she will be allowed to do more things. Keke's dad was an officer in the US Army who was home ever so often, but when he was it was horrible. Her father was a sexist; he'd let her big brother Chad who just turned 17 last month do any and everything. Chad could stay out until 10pm, Keke had to be in the house when the street lights came on. Chad could have girls over when no one was home, but Keke couldn't even attend a group outing. "What would a boy and girl have to do at a movie theater?" Her father would ask. "Watch a movie" she simply replied. Her father Charles was always so hard on her and she didn't know why. But he and her mother knew. Charles's mother got pregnant with his sister at the age 16, and his sister got pregnant at age 15, but the baby didn't make it. shit even his wife got pregnant at age 16; with their daughter Charlie. Five years later Chad was born, and then came Kiara. - - It was 7:30 and everybody was full from dinner. They were now ready to cut the cake. Keke wanted to do presents first. It was presents then cake or get the hell out she thought.
Kelsey: Keke just cut the damn cake so everyone can leave.
