Keke was scared as hell. Here she was two days before her 17th birthday she was sitting in a hospital room with her mother and grandmother. They wanted to know what was really wrong with Keke so they brought her to the hospital. The doctor had already drawn blood and took a sample of pee so Keke was just waiting for the doctor to snitch on her. She was scared but whenever she thought of words Dani told her last month the fear slipped away. "Whatever happens he'll be here" Keke thought over and over again. - The doctor walked back into the room after the longest twenty minutes of Keke's life. The doctor took a seat on her stool and looked at Keke with eyes of sympathy. The doctor cleared her throat then began talking.
Doctor: ms. James. Do you know that you're pregnant?
Keke: yes
Keke could see the disappointed yet confused looks on her mothers and grandmothers face. She knew they had a million questions but she just sat and waited.
Doctor: when did you find out?
Keke: last month
Doctor: so how come you didn't tell your mother?
Keke: I wasn't ready
Doctor: do you know who the father is?
Keke: No
Doctor: were you sleeping around?
Keke: no
Doctor: Kiara. Were you raped?
Keke: hell no. I just don't want you all in my business.

Keke: none of you're business
Kelsey: little girl. You are sixteen and sitting here pregnant. Either you been sleeping around or you already told him and he left
Keke: he didn't leave
Kelsey: so where is he? He damn sure ain't here with you
Keke: he's working
Kelsey: Keke what the hell have you been doing? You around here fucking niggas who probably cant even afford a big bag of chips......you getting an abortion.

Keke hopped off the table and ran out the hospital. She ran and ran until she stopped at a McDonald's. She ran inside and sat at a table. She pulled her phone out and called Dani. The phone rung for a few seconds until Dani answered.
"Hey baby I'm busy right now-" Dani started but Keke cut him off.
"Baby I ne-need you...sh-she found out" Keke cried into the phone.
"What? Keke where you at?" Dani asked concerned.
"A McDonald's by the main ho-hospital" Keke answered.

Keke and Dani were laying in bed. Keke's body was wrapped around Dani's as her head laid on his chest. Dani could feel her tears wetting his chest.
"Calm down baby it's going to be okay I got you and our lil one. I'm here for y'all. I'm gone take care of y'all I love you" Dani told Keke.
"I love you too baby and I'm trying but I'm scared....as hell" Keke confessed.
"I am too but I got us trust and believe" Dani confessed as well.
