Max Wendell and The Heart Of Whethirford

We arrived in Fregyndor Island!

I heard Felix's laugh. I opened my eyes and hoped not to be tear apart. Instead, we're  completely fine. The bus is fine. But I felt like I'm in an elevator. When I glanced at the window, I saw we're shooting straight up to the sky. As soon as the bus hit the clouds, it hovers. It took me a moment to realize that it was no longer a bus, it transformed into a ship. Maybe the sound I heard earlier was the causes of the transformation. I felt relieved but Jet's face was still in a trauma. Duke? I don't know where he is. Jacqueline? She's asleep like she's been untouched.

"You bitch! You'd almost gave me a heart attack!" Jet exclaimed

"Damn. You. Felix." Duke added

"Yeah. Never gets old!" Felix laughed

"Felix, you'll keep doing this to the newbies?" Jacqueline asked

I didn't notice she already woke up.

Felix pushed some button and the ship's door opened.

"Do you mind to peek outside?" He asked

I was curious. So I went outside. When I took my first step, I remembered that the sun's radiation would cause some illnesses. So I asked Felix

"Uhm, will I die if I stepped outside?"

"Don't worry. The ship was inside a magical bubble where heat and radiation cannot enter. The same as the island we're heading."

I was confused. Who needs a magical force field if the island is way below the sun? But I don't care. I stepped outside. My eyes widened. It feels like you're riding a boat but not in water, but in the sky. I ran toward the edge and looked down. I saw the city below me. I could see an airplane flying beside our ship. I wonder why they didn't freak out, was that a normal thing seeing a floating ship cruising in the sky if you're in a plane? I've never been on a plane.

"Do they see us?" I asked Felix

"The magical bubble also can make anything invisible," He said, "and if something happened to head toward us, the bubble will automatically move our direction where they couldn't hit us."

Maybe the island that Felix kept on mentioning is better be keep a secret. That'll explained why it needs to have a magical bubble.

Thinking that makes me feel like special. If you think taking in a plane would be awesome, you've never been in floating ship where you can see the clouds, sky, sun and the cities clearly. This was the best ride I've ever been. I went back inside and played with my phone.

A few hours later, Jacqueline went outside and saw Felix peeked in his window. I was intrigued. So I tapped Duke's shoulder.

"Hey, should we go outside?" I asked

"Yeah." Duke said, "Hey Jet, wanna come too?"

"I sure do. But fuck Felix, dude." He said

Felix chuckled

"Uh Felix, was that necessary to announce you're 'commiting suicide' and jump off the cliff?"

"No! I just like seeing newbies freaking out!" Felix said

As soon as I stepped outside, I was surprised. The sky was completely red. I realized that it was sunset. I looked at the sky in awe. I ran inside and grabbed my phone. Then I stepped outside and turned the camera on. But when I tried to take a picture, the phone crashed. iPhone, why you do this? I thought. I kept on trying but my phone is busted

"Magic; technology contradicts that." Jacqueline said, "If you really want a photo of this, you'll need to get out of the Fernt."

"What's a 'Fernt'?" I asked

"The magical bubble that Felix explained earlier."

I was disappointed knowing I can't take a photo of this scenery. I decided to put my phone back in my pocket and enjoy that moment seeing the sunset above the clouds.

It was getting dark and I saw stars popping out one by one. I was at my bed when Jet screamed. I really hate Jet doing that.

"Dude! The Andromeda is so clear!"

Wait. Andromeda? That's a our neighboring galaxy. Our professor told us that Andromeda will hit our galaxy, Milky Way, after a millions? Of years. But somehow, Jet kept on calling the Milky Way, Andromeda.

"That's not Andromeda, dickhead." Jacqueline corrected, "That's Milky Way."

"Yeah, whatever. Guys! You must see this!"

Jacqueline, Duke and I went outside. As soon as I took my step outside, I was stunned. The moon is so bright and clear that you could see it's craters. I glanced up and saw the Milky Way, have you seen the Milky Way face to face? There's no art could beat it. It was beautiful. I looked down and saw the city glowed and the clouds are grey. Felix didn't mention that the fernt can protect us from cold. The wind was freezing.

Well, the Milky Way reminded me of my dream; where the stars fade out one by one. Then afterwards, it reminded me what happened in that night. I was curious what really happened. So I approached Jacqueline.

I stared at her face. She's staring at the sky while her head is resting above her palm. The starlight reflected in her brown eyes. Her brown hair were shimmering. But what really broke the mood is when I chuckled when I saw her smile. I've never seen her so absorbed. She glared at me.

"What?" She asked

"Can I ask?"

"No. And obviously, you're doing it right now."

"Come on. Don't be rude this time." I pleaded, "What really happened?"

"Huh?"

"That night when you saved me from the sprimter, why I can't remember a thing?"

Her face went red. I don't know why. And she looked away with her eyebrows met each other. I was expecting to have an unclear answer though she didn't gave me an answer, so I just went inside.

My stomach grumbled. I grabbed my phone from my pocket and looked at the time. It was 7:34. I walked toward the fridge. When I opened it, I saw a bunch of foods and drinks. I picked three donuts and juice. I ate them all in one minute and afterwards, drank my juice. My stomach was full so I layed in my bed. A few minutes later, Felix announced

"We're here!"

I was expecting the ship will go below and land in the sea but instead it kept on hovering. I feared that we will use ropes to go down or stairs, I hate heights.

Felix went infront.

"Welcome to Fregyndor Island, bros! Now jump!"
