DESCRIPTION: In which a rich girl from Beverly Hills has her heart set on the boy who fixed up her brokedown car.
SUMMARY: Unlike most people in her position Valerie Perez was extremely grateful for what the world gave her; two loving parents and wealth. Despite being around other snobby teens that had also been raised on the luxurious life the young latina always counted her blessings and thanked those who had provided for her from the staff of her family's mansion to the middle class barista that managed to make her complicated coffee every morning. Valerie was a compassionate soul that had an interesting look at life. Every second was precious and she wanted to spend them appreciating all the little and big things around her. That included the young mechanic that fixed up her G-Wagon when it had suddenly broke down on her way to the beach in East LA.
NOTES: — Val is a precious Puerto Rican baby — She reminds me a lot of a princess: classy, elegant, and kind however she isn't perfect — Since she lives a wealthy lifestyle surrounded by certain types of people so there are expectations and she has insecurities of not being good enough — She often second guesses herself and overthinks a lot about everything — Her self sense of worth is low so she surrounds herself with expensive things to make her feel better but of course it doesn't help — There is a sort of fake happiness to her that she puts up for her peers — Val is the type of person to put others before herself because subconsciously she doesn't think her needs are more important than others — She does have a good heart tho that's for sure — When she meets Robbie it's a fresh wave of relief because around him she doesn't have to worry about all the expectations her lifestyle has
