DESCRIPTION: In which Tom Holland adopts Tessa from Naomi Rodriguez' dog rescue organization called Puppy Love.
SUMMARY: Before Naomi Rodriguez had landed herself a role of a lifetime in the Marvel Cinematic Universe the young latina was simply known as the daughter of the once iconic actress, Xochi Rodriguez. Back then Naomi spent her days supporting her single mother and helping out with her growing company. It wasn't until Naomi had turned fourteen did she want to start a business of her own.
Ever since the day she watched All Dogs Go to Heaven when she was a kid Naomi had fallen completely and utterly in love with dogs. They had become one of her biggest passions alongside acting and music. It didn't take too long for Naomi to turn her obsession for pups into something bigger. Learning from the best, Naomi managed to create her very own dog rescue organization called Puply Love where dogs would receive the love, shelter, food and veterinary care that they desperately needed. All of that was accomplished at the age of fourteen.
Over the years, Naomi's organization grew exponentially and by the time she had turned seventeen it became a world-renowned sensation. Going from only being stationed at a small sanctuary for pups in LA to having multiple all across the country. Not only did Puppy Love sweep the nation but it also got to travel to other countries on retreats to spread the word about rescuing and sheltering dogs in need.
The first time Naomi left the country to go on a Puppy Love retreat she traveled all the way to London, England where she had met the most adorable Staffie puppy she had ever seen. Tessa was a recent rescue in London and Naomi was going to adopt her but a British teenage boy changed that.
NOTES: — Naomi is a very independent person as she learned to be from her mother which she has the strongest and closest relationship — Naomi's mom is basically her best friend and as much as she loves it she wants to go out and connect with other people but it's extremely hard for her since she is the daughter of two famous actors — Naomi doesn't have that good of a relationship with her father because for one, he doesn't really care for her that much and two, he was never around because he left her and her mother for another woman when Naomi was younger — Naomi is anti social and prefers animals over people — Naomi and Harrison actually meet before Tom and Naomi do — Harrison volunteers at the Puppy Love shelter in London and him and Naomi becomes friends — It isn't until later that Tom comes along and wants to adopt Tessa but Naomi already had wanted to adopt Tessa — Tom and Naomi's first interaction isn't that pleasant as they begin to argue over who gets Tessa — Tom and Naomi challenge one another to see who's more fitting to care for Tessa and along the way they both form a bond — This story is very "enemies to lovers" — Naomi becomes an actress later on when her mom informs her of role on Civil War and that they're also looking for an actor to play Spider-Man
