Avenging Angels.

Tension between team mates.

Was I ok? My teammate just slapped me because I went to meet Gaara last night. Why does he care? 

"Luna?" I look up and see Gaara staring at me with a blank expression. I nod and swipe the hair out of my face.

'I'm alright Gaara.' He places a hand on my shoulder and looks me straight in the eyes.

"Are you sure?" I smile softly and nod. Suddenly the hotel room door opens and his sister pokes her head in.

"Gaara? Baki wants to have a meeting with all of us." She suddenly notices me sitting on his bed. "Oh! Uh hey Luna." She looks behind her nervously and Gaara's sensei walks in. 

"Leave. Only Sand ninjas here." I nod and go to stand up but Gaara pushes me back down. 

"She's staying." 

"It's the Kazekage's orders." At the mention of that I place a hand on Gaara's shoulder and stand up. 

'If its the Kazekage's orders then out of respect I'll leave.' Gaara opens his mouth to interject but I place a hand over his mouth. 'Its alright Gaara. Come find me later, Ok?' He nods and I walk over to Baki and hold out my hand for him to shake, which he does. 'You've trained them with excellence. All three are very strong and you must be proud that all of your students made it to the third round.' With that I turn and head to the window to leave. 

Once outside I head to Kiba's house. When I get there I knock on the door and Kiba answered it. 

"Luna? What's wrong? Why is your cheek red and why are you in your night gown?" I look away and he motions me inside to tell him everything. As soon as I finish he stands up angrily. "That prick! Wait till I see that stupid Uchiha!" I place a hand on his arm to let him know that he needs to calm down. 

'That's not all.' Kiba sits down and waits for me to continue. 'Yesterday Gaara asked me to meet him on the monument.' 

"Did you go?" I nod. "And?"

'We ended up having sex.' Kiba stares at me shocked.

"Did you guys have protection?" I shake my head no and he nods. "Do you need a place to stay?" 

'Just for awhile.' Kiba nods and stands up.

"Our home is always open to you Luna." Kiba and I look to see his mom standing in the door way.

'Thank you Mrs. Inuzuka.' She smiles.

"Call me Tsume." She looks to Kiba. "Show her to her room then go with her after she gets a shower and help her get some of her clothes." Kiba nods and motions for me to follow him. Once we're done with the tour and I'm showered and dressed Kiba and I walk to my house. 

I unlock the door and Kiba and I start packing the clothes I need which fits inside a back pack. 

"Well lets go home!" Kiba tries to joke and I laugh. 

'Thanks for letting me stay Kiba.' Kiba laughs.

"Don't worry about it! Your family!" I laugh and hook my arm with his. 

'Still, thank you.' He nods and we walk back in silence. Once back I go out in the woods and train, and that's where I stayed till the third round and waited for Gaara who never came. 

~~~The day before the test~~~~

"Hey Luna!" I turn and see Kiba running towards me. 

'Yes?' I ask as I try to pull my long hair in a loose bun. 

"The third test is tomorrow!" I nod as I try to get my hair in the hair tie. "Your hair has gotten longer." I nod in frustration as I finally let my hair fall to the ground where an inch of it lays in a heap.

'I know. It's gotten hard to train because it keeps wrapping around my feet.' 

"Want to go get it cut?" I nod. 

'Let me go get a shower first.' He nods and together we walk back to the house. 

Once clean I dress in casual clothes and hide my wings in their wing slits. 

'Hey Kiba!' 

"Yeah?!" I walk out of the bath room in some low rise pants and  a regular black shirt. 

'What do you think?' He stares at me for awhile before nodding and holding up both hands in a thumbs up. 

"Perfect! Now lets go!" I nod and grab my wallet.
