Chapter XII: That's my best friend that's best friend...

"Where were you babe?"

I sat down at our lunch table and that's the first thing I was greeted with.

"Chrissy and I went to Willy's babe that's all"

"Word? You and Crystal talked?"

I laughed

"Yeah we talked and she's still my bitch"

He nodded and ate one of my fries out of my to-go box.

"Cool, So it's settled y'all good?"

"Yeah it's settled Nigga"

Crystal said sitting down across from us at the table with us, Chris not too far behind.

"Heeeeey Lemon head!"

he chuckled and gave me a quick head nod

"Wasssup"

We had small conversations and laughed here and there, Mainly at Chris cracking jokes. We sat there until the bell for next period came and I had that class with Tony.

I sat in my usual seat and began to take the notes that were on the board. The warning bell rang and Tony came stumbling in to the room like he was rushing. I smiled and he walked over to me.

"Waddup Ma"

"Hey Tony"

"What's been up"

"Nothing really, I talked to Crystal and we cool now, that's really it"

"Oh word? That's wassup mama"

he said pulling out a pen and beginning his notes as well. I finished my notes and pulled out my phones getting on snapchat as I waited for Tony to finish his too.

A few minutes later he did and turned his chair toward mine.

"Always on that phone Goldie locks"

"I am not"

"Yes you are mama, always on snap chat and Instagram and shit"

"Whatever Tony, anyways why didn't you tell me about Angel"

"Huh? Where that come from?"

"Angel, you heard me, why didn't you tell me about her?"

"I didn't really think it was a big thing, she's coo people I like her, but it's not like we in a relationship or nothing, ion think we ready for that just yet"

"Y'all fuck yet?"

He chuckled

"What that got to do with anything Shelly?"

"I'm just asking... You're suppose to tell you best friend everything Tony"

"Yeah we have, but like I said we ain't in no committed relationship though"

I smiled to myself a little when he said that again. I don't know why I was so happy to know he wasn't in a relationship, but I was hype on the inside.

"You seemed relieved mama"

"Huh?"

"When I said that we weren't together you seemed relieved like your happy or something"

"N-no not really, it's whatever you know?"

"How did you even find out about her?"

"Chrissy"

"Oh, y'all talking asses, can't tell Chris sprung ass nothing"

"Oh whatever! You had to know I would find out eventually"
