Sammies Pov:

       It was Finnally the night of the date and Greyson said he was taking me out on a picnic and we were walking to it.He said it was on a small patch of feild only about 3 blocks away from the college.I decided on wearing smithing comfortable but cute I decided on a pair of teal blue jean shorts with an emoji tank top that had all of the purple and blue emojis on it.I paired it with an MK to the side purse that had enough space to fill my Vera Bradley coin pouch wallet thing,and my phone,With a pair of tan zigzagged burkinstocks.I put in a ponytail and then curled it and walked out the door.When I walked out beside the elevator I saw Greyson holding my all time favorite flower,A white rose.He knew this because when we had a flower festival In my town all of the little kids got to pick out one flower from a big display an of coarse Greyson didn't want to go but his mom made him and I thought that was hilarious at the time and every since I saw that flower I loved it and while at the festival Greyson on the other hand picked out a simple Daisy for his mother.Ill never forget that day that was the week before he left.I was taken out of my thoughts as I relized I had kept walking and ran into Greyson I heard a small chuckle escape his lips and I felt a blush coming Through my cheeks.He just smiled and gave me the roses and we walked into the elevator.

    We were walking down the sidewalk just talking and he told me about when they moved here and how he begged for his parents to take him back to his hometown just for a visit.He told me about the time he was climbing a tall tree trying to see if he could see the town he use to live in.This was on his 6th birthday and he heard a bird then fell and broke his leg.It was one of those moments where it's not funny but you can't help but laugh as I was laughing a snort escaped my nose I quickly turned away embarrassed and then I heard a burst of laughter and a small snort escape Greyson then at the same time we both fell into a world of laughter in the side walk.As we whipped away the year we had from laughing so hard we continued walking.It took us about 10 more minutes to get to our destination and sure enough There was an opened feild with a lake back in the woods where there was a deck build around the lake and there I saw a small lantern with a picnic blanket and basket.I jumped up and hugged Greyson I had never had anyone do something like this for me.As I looked around a long ways away from the lake I saw a faint light from a lantern as saw A small fire pit with logs set around it.He smiled at me and told me he found this place when he moved here.We sat down on the blanket and he opened the basket and there sat my most favorite food in the world.....Spagetti.We sat and ate as I devoured the food and also had a breadstick or two.As I drank from one of the cups filled with Champagne I asked him."so did you make this yourself?",he looked up and smiled and nodded his head and said,"yes I did it was my mothers recipe."I quickly remembered his mother Mrs.Lee was a sweet woman but sadly her husband died when Greyson was 3.I looked up when I finsished and saw a smiling Greyson looking at me.We picked up my hand a let me over to the fire pit.There was a stack of fire wood beside it.Greyson started the fire and took out some marshmallows. When I saw them a smile tugged on my lips.When we're were little Greyson and I went camping together once.We were roasting marshmallows and I was slinging mine around trying to get it of fire.Greyson was laughing at me and I slung my marshmallow off of the stick And it landed on Gresons face.I burst out laughing and it took him 3 days to get the stickiness and everything out of his hair that was one of the many memories we had together.I was looking for my purse when i realized I left it by the picnic .I walked back to the picnic and saw it laying beside the basket I took a moment and relized that I loved Greyson but I didn't know if he did too.I looked out into the lake and saw the moon reflecting on the water.I smiled and walked back as i looked I saw Greyson but someone else too.I looked closer and saw Greyson kissing someone else it felt as if all of the walls building up my tears broke and I ran as fast as my legs could carry me away from him I made it in the middle of the road with no cars and I hadn't relized that it was raining very badly.Then I relized that Greyson was still trying to find me.I started to run then an somone held on to my arm it was Greyson."Let go of me!",I shouted with tears in my eyes."What's wrong with you?!",Greyson said back.this made me mad he already knew so I turned around and let of all of my feelings right there."You know what wrong with me I saw you kissing another girl on our date I was starting to like you at first then I found out who you were and I was slowly falling for you but that doesn't matter because your in love with someone else and it will never work! I knew you wouldn't like me back or fall for me.Look at me!!!Im the smart kid that doesn't care about makeup or dresses or pageants or lookin the best for a guy.Id much rather spend my money on stuff for sports.Im not what you want I'm not a girly girl.Ill always be like this!I stay after practices to make sure I can be the best that I could ever be for this tournamate I stay on that field and that gym for hours at a time!!!Im weird like that!!!!"By the time I was finished the rain had soaked me and my tears were falling freely.I was stopped by Greyson's lips smashing into mine and he whisped,"That's all I want you to be."
