Upstairs, I unlocked the door to my apartment and crept in.

There were noises that I would prefer not to repeat but needless to say my boyfriend was cheating on me.

There was a jacket slung over the big couch that wasn’t mine, but I knew well.

     It was Danielle’s.

Thankfully, I always had an emergency bag packed for either situations like these or actual emergencies. So I grabbed that from the coat closet and hustled Hanna into her little carrier and swiped her emergency bag.

I ran back downstars before I made SUPER loud noises and spastically knocked on Louis’ door. (Harry was out for the night and I hadn’t seen Lou is FOREVER).

“Brooke?” He asked, opening his door.

“Hi. Can I stay at your house tonight?” I said, close to tears and really sniffly.

“Of course, come on in.” Louis nodded, opening the door for me to come in.

“Do you mind dogs? Because I had to grab Hanna, but if you don’t I can drop her off at Zayn’s.” I said, trying to stop crying.

“No, I don’t mind.” Louis said with a chuckle. “But, seriously Brooke, what’s wrong?” He asked, sitting down on the couch.

“L-l-li-li-liam h-h-h-he w-w-was ch-ch-ch” Was as far as I got before really bawling.

“Liam was cheating on you?” Louis asked, his face turning a deep red and his fists started to clench up.

“Y-yeah.” I said as Hanna jumped into my lap.

“Do you want me to do anything?” Louis asked with a clenched jaw.

“No, just try and distract me?” I said, wiping a few tears and, thankfully, stopped crying.

“Sure. Ok. I have movie options!” He cheered, petting Hanna on the head.

“Yay! I love movies.” I cheered like a 5 year old.

“Okay. In comedies, I have Grown Ups or Mall Cop. In chick flicks, I have The Last Song and The Vow. And in adventure, I have The Avengers and Captain America.” He said, looking through a woven basket labeled “Favorites”

“Wait. You have favorite chick flicks?” I asked in a state of confusion. “And I think Mall Cop will do.”

Knowing Louis, I went to the kitchen and found everything in random cabinets but thankfully, I found the snack cabinet first and I started popping popcorn.

Once I finished making the popcorn, Louis and I laid on opposite sides of the couch with out feet crossed and overlapping.

After the movie was over, Louis and I hopped into his bed and just started talking until we fell asleep.

Now before anyone jumps to any conclusions, Louis and I are SUPER close and neither one of us would think of the other like that and this was not that big of a deal.

In the morning, I jumped up and starting doing my usual routine, I found my favorite hot chocolate k-cup in the large selection in Louis’ kitchen (I guess that would make sense since we both liked it…) and I started making myself a cup of the white-hot chocolate.

At the same time, I got out the milk and whipped cream. Also digging around to find the materials to make waffles.

As I was stirring waffle mix, my hot chocolate finished, so I took my k-cup out and threw it away and prepared my hot chocolate, popping it in the fridge to cool.
