Cat’s POV
“WHAT?!?!” I shrieked, looking at the newspaper at a stand in central London.
“What is it?” Brooke ran up next to me before repeating what I had just said.
One Direction Girlfriend Ashley Washington Seen With Popstar and Millionaire Mason Lumley.
I immediately snatched up a copy and stormed to the register to pay for it, whipping a couple of pounds on the counter and smiling at the cashier, who just handed me my receipt and change, understanding once she peered at which magazine I had bought and recognizing me.
Once Brooke and I were safely in a Starbucks with coffees, I flipped the magazine to the cover story where the article went into more details than necessary.
One Direction’s Zayn Malik was recently heartbroken when girlfriend of 6 months, Ashley Washington, broke up with him suspiciously, only to be seen a week later with lead singer of the hit ‘Waiting For Time To Stop’, Mason Lumley.
Zayn has stayed extremely quiet while other One Direction girlfriends, Brooklyn Reid and Catherine Winters have been spending a lot of quality time with Zayn. Recently being seen leaving an animal shelter with a crate.
What did Zayn buy at the animal shelter???
Ashley, on the other hand, has been seen making many public displays of affection with possible new beau, hugging and holding hands as much as possible. An inside source has also claimed that the newly blonde has moved into Lumley’s mansion outside of London.
Luckily the article ended there because otherwise I would have exploded.
Mason and Zayn have always had problems, even before Zayn met Ashley. Ashley had always ranted about how Zayn was right and Mason was a douche but I guess if she’s into that kind then whatever…
“What do you think? Should we tell Zayn or let him find out?” I asked Brooke after she skimmed the article.
“I think we should tell him. If he asks us about it he’ll get upset that we didn’t tell him.” She responded, tucking the magazine in her purse.
