Neji's P.O.V.
I left Jenna's house. She was beautiful and smart. I felt bad that she had been through all that. I saw the fear and anger in her eyes when she saw her brother. What he did to her and she forgave him. I couldn't believe it that she could be so forgiving. I was walking home thinking about what she had been through that one day she told us about. All of her scars had come from him and his friends then there was a family who helped her.
They were kind enough to heal her wounds and let her stay. I thought about the little boy she mentioned. I sent him a silent prayer of thanks for helping her out of the woods. I thought about how they looked. She said they had deep blue eyes and strawberry blonde hair like her. I began to grow suspicious. Maybe... maybe that was her real family. I shook that thought off. She never mentioned being adopted though she may not have known. I shook the thought out of my head.
I got to the Hyuuga compound and went to my home. I sat on my bed until I got tired. I almost immediately went to sleep. I thought about Jenna's strawberry blonde hair and her radiant blue eyes and went to sleep happy and with a smile on my face.
I was groggy the next morning. I slowly got out of bed and brushed my long tangled hair. It was a mess. I knew how girls felt brushing their hair. I put my headband on. I took a look at the mark on my forehead then covered it. I changed into my clothes. I woke up my spoiled cousin Hinata.
"Hinata wake up. You'll be late to go to your team. I'm only doing this once so hurry up." She was groggy when she woke up as well. She was the spoiled member of the Hyuuga clan even her father the chief thinks so as well.
"G-good morning N-Neji..." She looked at the ground and I just rolled my eyes. I knew she was friends with Jenna but Hinata was still spoiled.
"Whatever I'm going." She looked down at the ground then asked me a question I blushed at.
"Neji b-before you go. I-I wanted to ask you something. D-do you like J-Jenna-San?" I looked down at the ground and blushed. Then answered her question to answer her question.
"Do you still like Naruto?" She just about fainted then nodded her face was red as a lobster.
"There's your answer for me." I actually smiled at my cousin and she was taken aback. Then I placed my smirk on my face where it belongs.
I left the compound and started walking to Jenna's apartment. I was in a good mood today for some reason. I put my hands in my pockets when I went to her door. I knocked quietly. I heard movement then the door opened. Jenna's hair was all over the place her eyes where groggy. She smiled at me and I smiled back.
'She still looks beautiful. Even like that.' then I looked down then had to look back up. She was in her underwear and she looked down and blushed. She put one finger up and went and changed. She wore shorts with the same top she wore the first time I saw her. Her hair was back up in her high ponytail as usual. And she brushed it out.
"You look pretty dang good today Jenna." I wasn't lying she did look good. I smiled at her and she smiled back.
"Thanks Neji. You look good too." She came out and locked her door then she did something unexpected. She hopped on my back. I looked at her with a curious look. Then I smiled. I carried her about halfway when she hopped off. She intertwined our fingers together and I smiled down at her. She was very petite. Before we got to the training grounds I gave her a peck on the cheek and she blushed.
