We went to the hokage's office to see what our mission was. I was curious because I had never been on mission.

When we entered the hokage got a major nose bleed when he saw TenTen and I. I giggled at his pervertedness . He got up and dried his bleeding nose. Then briefed us on the mission.

"You will be escorting the Princess Sari of the Land of the Snow. Your mission will start today at 9:00 am sharp. She has been targeted by assassins and kidnappers from all over to get rid of her or for ransom money. So guard her with your lives. That is all."

I went to my apartment and packed my clothes and other necessary items for along the trip. I looked at the clock and it was about ten minutes until nine. I shrugged the bag over my shoulder then went to the gate.

I saw the client looking frantically for the ninjas who will protect her. I ran up to her and introduced myself.

"Hi my name is Jenna what's yours?" She smiled nervously. She had Sky blue eyes. She had straight black hair going all the way down to her hips. Her beautiful kimono was a snowy white with embroideries from her village.

"Princess Sari of the Land of the Snow."

"Well I am one of the nin here to protect you the others should be arriving shortly in the mean time maybe you could tell me what this is all about or tell me more about yourself whichever seems more comfortable with you." I gave her a big grin that you could see a mile away. She gave me a deathly tight hug.

"Arigato, Jenna." I nodded at her then gave her a warm smile.

"Well I'm thirteen. I live in a huge mansion but I do not like it. It gets very lonely. My father will not allow me to have friends based on the circumstances of our village. We had gone into debt and people were seeking out the debt we owed them. My father used money out of our own pockets for you to help us.

The people who have been sent to kill me or kidnap me are the ones we owe debts to. They think that we are rich beyond many people but the truth of the matter is it that since we live in the snow we can not grow crops or raise livestock. Though we have found a little gold and silver in our mines and while little children were digging for fun.

Though it is the very little we use to feed the people of my village. Though the outsiders do not understand." I wiped a tear coming down her face. I gave her a reassuring hug that everything was going to be ok.

"Listen you and I are friends so don't worry about anything ok? And when we get there if we have enough time give me an old outfit and I can make I it into something new and you do not have to pay. I do it out of generosity." Her eyes lit up when I said that and she gave me another bear hug.

We talked and talked until the others got to the gate. We started immediately so we could cover ground. I raced through the trees with Princess Sari on my back. She didn't weigh me down at all in fact she was very light like a rag doll.

I saw that the sun was going down and I told Gai sensei. He told us to stop. We had made enough ground. Plus we had been traveling since the early morning until late in the evening. I let the princess sit while I got the firewood ready.

We ate the packed lunch boxes. I wasn't that hungry so I shared the rest with the princess.

"No I can not take your food Jenna it wouldn't be right of me..." I smiled and put in her lap.

"Trust me I'm not that hungry tonight. Besides you seem much hungrier than me so you should take it." She smiled a small smile and happily ate the food. I smiled at her she was so starved of food. I felt a little sorry that she had been through this much.
