The next day the group headed to town for a walk, when Clay noticed something.
"Guys look, this town is having a singing duet competition for famous duets, it's to get some tourist to visit." Said Clay
"Cool, we should sign up." Suggested Jay
"When is it?" Asked Amera
"Four weeks." Read Clay
"And your graduation is in seven weeks." Said Savannah
"So we have enough time to compete." Said Jay
The group signed up, Amera and Savannah was on a team while Clay and Jay was on another team. After the activities they did they went home to pick songs. It has been four weeks and it was the day of the competition, Amera and Savannah were up next.
"Remember only 3 of the 5 duets will make it to the next round today, next up The Jems!?" Said the host
"Hi." Said Amera as Savannah and her walked out
"We are preforming what a girl is." Said Savannah
The crowd clapped after it was over.
"That was terrific. Next we have Galaxy." said the host
"We are preforming I think about you." said Clay
After that the crowd clapped.
"That was the last act of the day and now for the winners, ok the judges have decided the twenty going on to the next round will be.......... The Jade sisters, Jems and Galaxy! But before the competition continues we will have a break to give the duets some voice warm-ups." said the host
After the break the host came back on stage.
"Welcome back let's get straight to the competition 2 teams will go on and one team will not and first we have the Jade sisters." said the host
"We are singing try everything." said one of the Jade sisters
The crowd clapped.
"Beautiful, but now we have Galaxy!" said The host
"Our next song is the way that you do." said Jay
The crowd clapped louder and cheered.
"How I missed their songs but wait we have one last team they are the Jems!" said the host
"We are singing a new song we worked on it's called gift of a friend." said Savannah
The crowd seemed to love that song because they stood up and clapped.
"Wow, sometimes I forget about how amazing the girls are." whispered Clay
"Yeah, it's been awhile since we heard them sing." said Jay as Clay and him clapped
"The judges have picked the next winners and they are.............
