After that first day that I showed her around school, we hadn't talked much. Like, not at all. Although I saw her where ever I went. She was also always starring at me. I still had my weird dreams, although I felt that if I got to know her more, they might just disappear. My friends tried pushing me to go and talk to her, but I was too shy. I was afraid that if I told her about the dreams that she would think I was insane. Or perhaps she didn't have these dreams about me. All my friends thought that those were silly thoughts, they said it would be 'romantic' to tell her that. Oh yeah, totally. I'll just walk up to her and say, "Hey I just met you, but I've had a dream about you. Well not you but your eyes. Wanna be friends?" I wouldn't have bought it if someone said that to me, I would be weirded out.
About two months after I first met her, she decided to make the first move. I was at lunch talking with my friends, we were discussing the TMI and TID series. We were debating weither we would rather have a relationship like Will and Jem, or like Jace and Alec.
"I think that I would much rather have a realationship like Jem and Will, because they care for each other so much." Cadmus said.
"That's true, but Jem dies." retorted Simon.
"Auctually, he doesn't die. He turns into a Silent Brother." corrected Omarion.
"Yeah, but it was like he died, because Will had is parabarti rune bleed. And Jem's faded." I said.
After I made my statement Thadia decided to come over. "Hey guys," she said. She gave a polite wave, we all waved back. She then looked and me bit her lip, then quickly said, "I need to talk to Theodore alone." All the guys looked at us for a little, they knew that we hadn't talked since that first day.
"Yeah, sure that's fine with us. We were about to go to the library anyways. Right guys?" Said Cadmus, I loved that he was so composed in these kind of situations. Zaccheus looked like he wanted to object, but kept his mouth shut anyways. He walked away mumbling to him self, something along the lines of she's a ducking face mole. Once they left a blanket of silence was thrown over the both of us. I could tell that she was playing with one of the bracelets on her wrist. Her hair was covering her face as it was on the first day I met her. I wanted to pick my hand up off my lap and push her hair back and put it behind her ear. I also wanted to lift her chin and tell her that she didn't have to talk to me if she didn't want to. I quickly shrugged off that thought, she would never like me. I shouldn't hurt myself.
"I guess you're wondering why I asked to speak to you?" She slowly lifted her head as she spoke, she pushed it out of her face.
"Yeah, I was wondering why you had summoned me so mysteriously." I gave what I hoped was a sly grin. It seemed to have worked for she smiled back at me.
"Well...this is gonna sound kinnda weird but..." she trailed off for a moment, looked at me bit her lip and quickly blurted, " I've had dreams about you, well not exactly you. More like your eyes." She winced, I was stunned for a moment, I then quickly composed myself.
"This might sound weird as well...but I've had dreams about your eyes as well." I felt as if a huge weight was off my shoulders, I heard her give a big sigh of relief.
"Oh, I am so glad I'm not the only one. I thought it was just a coincidence."
"Yeah, me too." We looked at each other for a minute, then started laughing. It started out as quite laughing at first, then it slowly increased in volume. Everyone in the lunch room was looking at us, but we didn't care.
