Elementbenders: Lucifers journey

Chapter 2

Lucifer Pov

The knights had dragged me away from the element-room, confused and hurt. Now I was locked up in a cell in the dungeons. "We will make you wait here, only for a little bit!" said the knights. Liars. They are all liars.

It was the next day when someone finall came to let me out. They had taken away my nice clothes and given me my old rags again. By then I was thirsty and tired, but most of all angry. The knight who opened the cell gagged me and tied my hands together. Why was this necessary? I am so thin and weak I could not hurt the knight.

They dragged me to the throne-room. Perfect! Now they are going to humiliate me infront of the king. I think they are angry, because I set fire to the elementstone. It was not my fault and I think they ow me answers. Normal people do not do that! Why did I do it?

The king instructed one knight to take out the dirty cloth they had gagged me with and when his fingers came near enough I bit him. He screamed, but his friends just laughed at him. Even when you are a knight, people backstab you.
"Now, Lucifer, I'm going to tell you about the prophecy, that you are a part off. Once, before the kingdoms had risen, when man and animal lived in peace, the elements where stronger. The humans could perform magic, called simply element-magic. But only one element per person. A team of element-magicians, called element benders made a prophecy. Now, a thousand years later it has come true!"

When human looses faith
And magic they despise
When the dark ages start
The elements shall rise
Fire, from the dust
Water, from shame
Earth, from the unexpected
Air, from the pride
Their powers they shall gain

The king looked at me. "Lucifer, we have found the other three with powers and we want you to join them. A big journey is ahead and we need you help. In south an evil man has gained trust and he will soon attack the innocent. Help us Lucifer!"

"Why should I help you. I do not have any powers, and I do not have what it takes to defeat an evil villain, or what you said. Just leave me alone!" I ran as fast as I could out the door and was lucky enough to remember the way out. I could hear the Knights running behind me, but I was faster.

When I had ran off the Knights, I went home. Sitting in my broken wagon I tried to get the rope off my hands. They where sore and bleeding. It's not often I cry, but I had had enough. I cryed myself into sleep. Unfortunately when I woke up, I was not in my wagon.

I was in a big, open room, with lots of beds. I saw some medical remedies and plants on a table next to my bed. My hands where bandaged and my head too. I was in the castles sickbay. The king came in and sat down at my bed.
"Lucifer, you need to help us. We can offer you enything you want, if you just meet the other element benders and go to the south." "Then leave me alone!" I said and tried to get the bandages off.

"No, the healer said your hands where damaged, after the stone and the ropes..." "Not any more!" I said and ripped off the bandage to revile my fully recovered hands. "How is that possible!" The king said. "It has been like this as long as I can remember. My wounds heal quickly." "That means that you are the fire bender! Lucifer, lives of innocent people are on you shoulders!"

"Fine, but I will not work for you. I will help the people, but not because you asked me to. When the king in your town, gags you and ties up, I do not think you are a good leader." "Child, you speek words of truth. Now let us meet the other element benders!"
