*Next Day*
I'm not gonna let this bullying get in my way. I kept my head up high. Jacob came to me.
"I thought you would be with Chres" He said
"No I hate that nigga" I said
"Why What happened"
"He just left me alone in at the pizza shop Not giving me a call or anything I'm done with him"
"Wow Well I hope everything good with you"
"Yeah I know"
He walked away from me. I'm still think bout what that girl told me yesterday.
*Few Days later*
I said I was done with Chresanto but I haven't seen him at school in the last couple days. After I got out of basketball practice I went to his house. Even tho I hate him A nigga got to care. I rang the doorbell. Then Chresanto answered. His eyes all red and puffy. He looks like he been crying for hours.
"Hey where you been man I haven't seen you at school" I said
He hugged me and I heard soft sobs. Why is he crying tho? I rubbed his back and I went inside with him.
"Look Craig I'm sorry about the pizza shop Its just my mom got in a accident and I rushed to the hospital. I haven't been at school because I been at my mom side in the hospital while she was life spport and just today she was pronounce brain dead and" He started sobbing again
I hugged him. I feel like an asshoe. I never called him to see what happened. I could of been there for him. His mom just died.
"You want me to stay with you" I asked him
He nod and his head rest on my shoulders. I just soothe him. I got him to stop crying for a little bit. Right when I came out the shower after I got dressed I found Chresanto on his bed sobbing again. I crawl on his bed and I wrapped my arms around him and cuddle with him. I whispered some stuff in his ear and I got him to stop crying and peacefully fall asleep
