Chapter 9; Over And Over Again

Honestly, getting through was one of the best feelings in the world. But I was still deep in thought.

The way Keaton looked at Alex was different than before. I know it was absolutely none of my buisness, but the day when he sang to her and first kissed her, it looked like love, but you didnt see it in her, now its the other way around.

I kept trying to figure everything out, but I couldnt.

I looked up at them and saw Keaton and Alex flirting and eating.. Typical Keaton.

I laughed and looked at Wes who was looking down at his phone and texting.

He looked at his phone and smirked before he looked up.

"Who ya texting Wes?" I said interested by his little smirk he made.

"No one." He said quickily as he started finishing his meal.

Hmm.. Suspicious.

We all finished our meals and everyone went in my car while I stayed back to pay.

I gave the waiter our money and then I felt a tap on my shoulder.

"Alex? Why arent you waiting in the car?" I asked.

"Mandy just texted me, She said she wont be home for an hour or two, so can I come over?" She said as she bit her lip. I almost forgot she had a sister let alone how her sister was the preppy girl who all the guys have been talking about.

"Why are you asking me?" I asked her. I was pretty much irrelevant to her most of the time. Which kind of sucked, she seemed like a really rad person.

"Oh. Wesley and Keaton are arguing about something. Didnt want to get in the middle of it"

"Yeah, of course thats fine." I smiled.

"Thanks." She smiled back.

We walked to the car to see Wesley and Keaton both sitting silently.

I got into the front seat and put the keys in, and Alex sat in the passenger seat.

"Alex. Can you sit back here in the middle seat? I dont want to be anywhere near him" Wes said as he rolled his eyes at Keaton.

I was gone for like, five minutes and they get in a fight? Seriously? It used to never be like this. When they were younger they were bestfriends, and all of the sudden now they act like arch enemys.

"Yeah! Alex! Come here! I dont wanna be by this untamed beast" Keaton said as he glared at Wes. Untamed beast? Thats a new one.

Alex rolled her eyes and got up and sat between them.

"Happy now?" I heard her say as I drove down the road.

"Yes" "No" I heard Keaton and Wes say at the same time.

I turned around and looked at Wes but he pretended like he didnt say anything.

I shrugged him off and drove to our house. Right when I pulled into the drive way, Wes got out and started walking down the road.

"Where are you going?" I yelled at him. Its not like him to leave abruptly. Mostly when we just got through on xfactor! Where does he have to go anyways, its late.

"No where. See ya later" He called out back as he walked further off.

"Whatever" I said quietly as I walked towards the house. Keaton and Alex awkwardly followed behind me.

"Soo.. What do you guys wanna do?" I asked as I plopped down on the couch.

"I dont know. Im tired" Keaton responded as him and Alex laid down on the futon. He put her arm around her and she smiled at him.
