Chapter 7; Nothing At All

Keatons P.O.V

"GOODMORNING SLEEPY HEAD!" I heard Drew yell as he hit me with pillows.

"Stop it, im up, im up." I said as I stood up and gave him a death glare that turned into a laugh.

I looked around and didnt see Wesley.

That's when it hit me, he went home with Alex last night.

"Where's Wes?" I asked Drew as I paced a bit.

"He stayed at Kennys. He called me with Kennys phone last night when you were sleeping and told me he's going to crash there. No need to worry Keats." Drew said which made me feel so much better.

Drew wouldnt lie to me. I know he wouldnt.

"Oh okay" I said feeling very relieved.

"Get to school kid. Its friday. Audition in 6 days." Drew said as he smiled warmly and patted my back.

"What time is it?" I asked as I looked at him and smiled back. He was always the nicest guy.

"Its only 6. I need to go pick Wes up from Kennys because he didnt bring his car and Kenny left. Get to school, dont skip. Okay?" He said as he eyed me down.

"Yeah okay mom." I laughed as he chuckled and walked out the door.

I sat on the couch and overwhelmed myself with thoughts.

I was confused. I was lost.

I knew I felt something for Alex, but what? Im 15.. I dont know what love is... Im just lost.

I knew Wes had a thing for her. Maybe he loved her.

I dont want to ruin love for him. After Tracie.. I didnt think he was capable of loving again. But he keeps going back to Alex.

I still had a plan in my mind, it'd make things easier. Or atleast I hoped.

I brushed off the thoughts and made myself a bowl of cereal.

Man, I fricking love cereal.

Drews P.O.V

"Its only 6. I need to go pick Wes up from Kennys because he didnt bring his car and Kenny left. Get to school, dont skip. Okay?" I said trying to be positive.

"Yeah okay mom." Keaton laughed as I let out a little chuckle and left the house as quickly as possible.

Alex promised me she wouldnt do anything. And what do you know? Wes doesnt come home.

I sped to Alexs house and knocked on the door.

No answer.

Seriously?

I started getting angry and knocked about 5 more times to a very annoyed looking Alex.

"Why the hell would you do it?" I asked as she looked at me sympathetically.

"I didnt do anyth-" She started but why else would Wesley stay? They had to of.

"Yeah okay. Thats exactly why Wes came home last night." I said clearly annoyed. Why would she even do this?

"Listen Drew I-" She said probably coming up with another lame excuse. but I was done.

Thats when I lost it.

"No. Alex. YOU LISTEN. YOU THINK YOU KNOW EVERYTHING. WHEN YOU DONT. YOURE LOST. YOURE CONFUSSED. YOU DONT UNDERSTAND YOUR FEELINGS. YOU THINK YOU LOVE KEATON, BUT YOU THINK YOU STILL HAVE FEELINGS FOR WES. BUT YOU DONT... YOU DONT HAVE FEELINGS FOR WES. ITS LUST. YOU THINK JUST BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU. YOU HAVE TO MAKE IT UP TO HIM. ALEX, WHAT YOU DONT SEE IS THAT KEATON IS SO IN LOVE WITH YOU. AND YOU OWE IT TO HIM. NOT WESLEY. KEATON IS MORE INLOVE WITH YOU THEN YOU WILL EVER BE WITH HIM. WAY MORE IN LOVE WITH YOU THEN WES IS. AND NOW KEATON HAS A PLAN AND IS GOING TO DO SOME CRAZY THING TO GET YOUR ATTENTION, AGAIN, BUT YOU STILL KEEP CHASING AFTER WES. AND NOW YOURE GONNA TELL ME? 'I DONT CHASE AFTER HIM' LAST NIGHT IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE. ALEX YOU PROMISED." I yelled and quickly regretted it as her eyes weld up with tears.

"No.. Alex. Dont cry." I said as I hugged her.

She cried even harder after that. This is why I should never get involved in things.

I make things worse, plus, I feel awful afterwards.

I looked up too see Wes standing near us dumbfounded.

Please tell me he did not hear that?

She let go and smiled at me.

"Drew... I think youre right. See you in 6 days" She whispered. Hopefully Wes didnt hear that.

Wes walked over to us and we were just about to leave and until I remembered something.

"What did happen last night?"

"Nothing.. Nothing at all." Alex said genuily.

"Her parents told me to stay because they were going to gone..Her grandma passed away last night.. They wanted someone there to comfort her, and since she was sleeping. They didnt want to wake her. They asked me stay so when she woke up, I could comfort her. They were going to get Keaton. But they were just to upset. I was just doing a favor. Nothing happend. I wouldnt do that to Keaton, hes a good guy." Wesley said as he hugged Alex.

"Bye. I still wish you'd come to the audition. But, I guess i'll see you in a week." He said as he kissed her head and smiled. She smiled back and she waved at us.

We got in the car and I couldnt help but notice the smile on Wesleys face.

And it couldnt help but make me think Wow, I cant believe im stuck inbetween a weird love triangle with two brothers and Alex.
