"WHAT DO YOU MEAN NO MORE EMBLEM3!" I yelled at Drew.

"Keaton. I explained this to your brother last night, and i've said it before. If he does this stuff, its just done. He needs to learn." Drew said sternly as he took a sip of his coffee.

"But Drew! We made it! Bootcamps in a month! We need to do this!" I whimpered. I hated how this was all technically my fault. It really hurt to know I was the one who did this to all of us. I couldnt even take it anymore.

"Yeah. I know." He said as he ran his fingers through his hair and sat down on a chair near the counter.

"Wheres Wes?" He asked as he set his mug on the table.

"Probably still sleeping" I said as I rolled my eyes. I hated this so much.

"I still dont understand why youd ruin the band because of this!" I harshly snapped at him and regretted it right after. I hated being rude or disrespectful to him because of how much he's helped me and got me through things. I really was grateful for him, but sometimes I didnt quite show it.

"Lets not talk about the band. Its done for now." He said calmly yet loudly.

"How about music you've made?" He asked almost like he was trying to get something out of me. But Drew always did change coversations when they were getting bad.

"Uhh yeah, I wrote one song recently I guess. And finished the official 'The Start Of Something New' beat too." I said as I sat down trying to not think of the band. I hated feeling negative anyways, maybe keeping my mind off of it would be better.

"I've made a couple new songs. No lyrics though. I need something to inspire me to write. Havent really got anything yet.. Whats your song about?" He asked nicely.. Almost too nice.

"Uhh. Life I guess. I wrote it that one day..." I trailed off thinking about the day and the plan I made. The plan to get Alex to be with who she really belongs with. I looked down at the ground and Drew sighed.

"I wanna hear it" He said quietly.

I looked up at him and he kept a straight face making me unable to see if something was up or not.

"Its not really finished." I said even though that was kind of a lie. I just didnt really want to share it that much, even though my feelings in the song were still pretty much the same.

"Still." He said as he got up and grabbed my guitair that was near the stairs.

He handed it to me and sat down awaiting for me to play. I wasnt sure if I should or not, but, its Drew. He doesnt really care about my buiness anyways.

I strummed a little and got in the tune of the song, and started singing.

"There are things that used to make me smile

One of them was you for just a little while

I'll leave you for dead; so far away

I'll replace you with fear and shame

You'll be happy on the day I die

There are things that used to make me laugh

But now they're deeply buried in the past

I left them there so far away Replaced my humor with my pain

I'll be happy on the day it dies

Remember when I said I love you

Well, forget it.. I take it back

I was just a stupid kid back then

I take back every word that I said

There are things that used to make you cry

One of them was me for just a little while

Why is it that you had to say Goodbye in your special way

You never even said you loved me

Remember when I said I love you

Well, forget it I take it back

I was just a stupid kid back then I take back every word that I said

Remember when I said I love you

Well, go ahead I take it back

I was just a stupid kid back then..

I take back every word that I said"

"Keaton" Drew said astonished right after I finished.

"Yeah?" I said a little out of breath from singing.

"Its not about Wes is it?" He asked which caught me off guard.

"Uh.. Um.. N..No" I said stuttering. I didnt think he'd ask me that. Did everyone think that it was about him? Oh my goodness..

"I dont understand you Keats" He said as he shook his head.

"I dont understand me either.." I said quietly. He looked at me and smiled a little and chuckled.

"Everything will fall in place. It takes time. Everything will eventually be alright." He said as he got up and gave me a noogie. Typical Drew.

"One last thing" He said as he turned around from where he was walking off to back to me.

"What?" I said as I got up too.

"What song are we gonna sing at bootcamp?" He asked as a smile grew on his face.

"Really?" I asked as I smiled too.

"Absolutely. You need this. Wes does too. Maybe if we keep him occupied he'll change his decisions. I understand it now" He said as he smiled a teethy smile.

"Lets go tell Wes!" I said unable to hide my excitement. I thought this was actually the end of Emblem3.

We both walked up to his room and opened the door to no one in the room, and his window wide open.

"Fuck" I heard Drew mutter under his breath.

Where had Wes gone too?
