Its been a year. A year and six months to be precise. You stood behind the counter of your book shop and smiled at the flock of costumers who seemed to enjoy your twist of a old medieval cafe and book store. The store was always busy, since it was open 24hrs a day, catering for everyone's schedules and needs. As well as yours. Even though you stood in the hub of where you lost your soulmate, the store was your distraction.

"(y/n) I have to attend to table no.4 can you please give this to table no. 7 ?" your waitress begged as she  handed you a tray with a cup of coffee.

"Since when does the owner serve customers ?" you joked as you made your way to the table on the far end of the room. You approached the table, a slight nervous feeling overcame you as you approached a young man with his back turned to you.

"Here's your coffee sir, sorry about the--" He turned to face you and you thought that you would never see those eyes ever again. It startled you so much that you dropped the coffee all over the table, only to earn a soft chuckle from the man, that familiar laughter.

"Well, I love my coffee out of the cup" he smiled up at you as you continued to stare at him, besides the now dark brown hair and eyes, he looked exactly the same. He was here, and obviously had no clue who you were.

"I'im so sorry, I'll get you another cup" you stuttered, as your hands shook uncontrollably as you tried to wipe up the mess you created.

"Its okay its okay" he laughed, holding your hand, in order for you to stop. The instant touch sent shivers down your spine, like it always did. The stranger smiled up at you, his tan skin glistening in the sunlight was the most picturesque thing you had ever seen. He was perfect.

"Are you the owner ?" he asked, as you stood beside his table awkwardly.

"yes...uhm...yes I am" you managed to say, trying to keep your composure.

"Wow, you are really beautiful, you actually remind me of someone, it's weird" he smiled, his gaze still locked on yours.

"you do too" you chuckled at how mundane this conversation became, and your body finally relaxed.

"hmmm, thats  even weirder, I recently just moved here and I must say that your store has a very homey feel" he said as he took a quick look around, "I'll definitely come here more often if you dont spill coffee on me."

You felt your cheeks turn a light shade of pink as he chuckled at your embarrassed state. Standing up from his chair your face met his and butterflies filled your stomach as he placed his hand on your shoulder, his dimples forming cutely on his cheeks as your eyes found his.

"Do you want to go for a walk ?" he asked.

"what ?...oh yes...yes sure thing" you quickly responded, trying to avoid getting lost in his gaze once more.

"Good" he replied, helping you out of your apron and placed it on the counter. His hands lingered around your waist sent shock-waves throughout your body, you were convinced you were on the verge of either waking up from a dream or fainting from the reality.

"Oh, how rude of me, what's your name ?" he asked, his hands still placed on your lower back.

"its (y/n)" you smiled nervously as the two of you walked out of the store. The man stopped in his tracks and looked off into the distance, eventually grinning to himself as he continued walking.

"Is something wrong ?" you asked, staring at the still very bashful man.

"Your name" he chuckled, "this may seem weird, but Im a writer, Ive been on this novel for a while now, fantasy novel about demons and such. It was meant to be dark and lonely, with just the thoughts of the lead character and his hatred of himself, not gonna lie if people think he reflects me actually" he continued as the two of you ended up at a park bench.

"I sent the novel to the publishers and they said I needed to add a female lead to the story, so the male character can find good in himself, you know allow him to finally find peace. At first I hated the idea, because love cant solve everything like in those soppy romance novels. They dont even get the sex right" he huffed. "Anyway I began working on my female character and I needed a name of course, and it took me a while to find the perfect one until one night I had a dream of her. She was perfect, something out of this world, and her name was (y/n)."

"thats quite the story" you giggled, it felt at though you just reminisced those past few months with Kai.

"yeah I guess it is, and well here you are (y/n), I thought you were a figment of my imagination, but you are here" he grinned, "fate maybe, but anyway Im Jongin, do you wanna grab some coffee and tell me who I remind you of ?"

You felt your lips curl into a smile at the sound of his name escape his lips. Everything was the way it should be again. Everything was the way it was.

"yes Jongin" you replied, "I'll gladly tell you everything."
