5. It is just a game right?

I didn't know what to say, I was totally confused I think he was just making fun of me, but what if it was the opposite maybe it will be a better option to just let it be and change the subject.
"Ok we are here to study so we should start" I said and took my books out of my bag.
"You are just trying to change the subject, you don't know how to accept a compliment" he said while he put my books aside.
"Look I am your tutor and we both know we couldn't be friends because we are really different so just leave it and let's focus on this" I answered without looking into his eyes
"Fine if you want to be like that. It's the last time I would try to be nice". He told me
"You were trying to be nice? You shouldn't act like someone you are not. I see what you do to the guys in our school you are always bothering them and to think you are better than everyone"
"What? Hey let me tell you that if you want to be on the team there are many tasks and all the players will bother you it is like a code and.. Wait I don't have to give you explanations  you are just a girl who believes she knows everything because you do homework and stuff but let me tell you something because you are studying all the day you don't know how to act around people you are just weird." He said to me and his words actually hurt me but I was not going to show him that I was furious and I wanted him to disappear.
"Get about of my house. I don't want to be around you. I won't let you treat me like that in my house so get the hell out of here!" I shouted and went to open the door.
" wait come on Alyssa everything is a misunderstanding" he tried to explain
"No. Just leave I don't want you near me and I know this was a bad idea we are not supposed to be near each other" I said
"Why you said that? We can get along if we start all over again"
"You don't get I right? We can't get along because we are like fire and rain. Totally opposites and you just said it I am weird so go and be with normal people. " I said while i open the door
"You are taking this to another level, I didn't mean it like that" he tried to apologize
"Just leave I have better things to do and don't worry I will get you another tutor, it won't be very difficult" I said and closed the door at his face.
Maybe I was exaggerating but I don't like people to treat me like I am weird or anti social; it makes me feel bad like I am doing something bad and I should be going shopping or going to the movies or stuff like that. People believe I am not normal and I am not enjoying my life. But I like what I do if you make me choose between going to a party or reading a book. I prefer to read because in books people aren't mean to me.

I was finishing my essay for my English class when someone knocked the door and I heard my dad calling me. I went downstairs and I saw Michael.
" what are you doing here?" I asked walking to the door.
"I wanted to give you something as a peace sign ". He said and gave a box
" what is this?" And when I wanted to open it he stopped me.
"You will open it when I leave ok? See you tomorrow Aly and I am sorry" he said and left
I go upstairs to my room and I put the box near my bed asking myself what could it be. Maybe it was empty and it is just a joke, I decided to open it and when I did I found a box of chocolates (expensive ones), a letter and an envelope, and when I opened it I found a ticket for the game which is tomorrow. I decided to read the letter
"Aly: I am sorry, I never wanted to offend you or hurt you. I don't want you to be mad at me and I really want you to be my tutor so I give you this. As you can see I give you a ticket for the game I would love to see you there.
Michael"
In that moment I didn't know what to think or do. I guess I should at least thanked him so I decided to send him a message
Aly: thank you for the gift 
I didn't expect a reply because I know that I did wrong too, I overreacted but my pride sometimes is a bad thing. While I was thinking about going or not to the game I heard my phone
Michael:don't worry. Like I said I am sorry and I hope you go to the game tomorrow
Aly: I don't know. I am not used to go to those events
Michael: it will be fun and don't worry if you don't know anything about football
Aly: I do know about football. But it is weird I never go to support our school
Michael: there is always a first time
Aly: I guess
Michael: see you tomorrow Alyssa
I don't know if I should go. Well I don't think it will be too bad it is just a game right?

During school everything seems normal, I was just having classes and doing some works when Aaron come to talk to me.
"Hey Aly"
"Hello Aaron. Do you need something?" I asked him.
"Well I was just thinking that maybe you could help me with chemistry this afternoon?" He said to me.
"I don't know if I have time. And by the way don't you have a game tonight?" I asked him because Michael gave me the ticket and it was for today.
"Actually I have a game but it is at night" he answered me.
"I see well in that case we should have to finish at least half an hour before the game right " I told him, while I was thinking how would I manage my time.
"Yes that would be fine. Are you going to the game?" He asked me
"I was thinking about it" I told him
"Well in that case I can take you when we finish". He offered and it wasn't a bad idea.
"That will be nice. I think it is the best option.
"Then it is a date". He said and winked
"You wish. I will see you at four o'clock in the cafe okay? I said and I couldn't keep seeing him with a big smile.
"Yes it is fine. See you" he said and then he left
I was going to tell Jess I would be attending tonight's game. She goes to every single game, but I couldn't find her so I texted her.
Alyssa: hey Jess, guess who is going to the game tonight?
And while I was going to my locker she answered me
Jess: OMG!!!!! It is the end of the world. Alyssa Evans going to a public event with people! It must be Christmas. If you want we can see each other before.
Alyssa: you are dramatic. And I really want to but I have to help Aaron with chemistry so I will go with him.
Jess: I see you have a date ;)
Alyssa: it is not a date! I am her tutor and besides he is not my type.
Jess: I know you like Peter  calm down girl!
Alyssa: I don't like him. I just think he is handsome
Jess: stop lying! Ok I will see you tonight enjoy your time with Aaron ;)
Sometimes Jess can be really annoying but I love her

I studied with Aaron all afternoon and for my surprise he was doing well.
"I think is enough for today" I said while I closed my book
"Yes because I think my head will explode" he joked
"You did a great job" I told him
"It is all because of you darling" he said and winked.
"Really funny. I think we should be going to the game right ". I changed the subject
"Yes. Let's go to my car".
While we were in the car we talked about school, soccer and those kind of stuff. It was fun actually , I would never thought that Aaron could be such a nice guy.
When we arrived everyone was already there so he just said goodbye and went with the rest of the team.
And for my surprise while I was buying something to eat, Michael appeared behind me and he told me something that shocked me.
"I can't believe you decided to be with that jerk"
