The Immortal Bound (The Immortals Series Book 1)

~Chapter 5~

"Ugh!" Thomas said in shock as he rushed to the headquarters. Trying to sleep but being stalked by the Five Leaders was not in a good shape to be in.

After a long and a long discussion  with the leaders, the three teenage boys looked at them in admiration. The leaders needed to tell them about their plans.

They were going to retire and they were close to these boys. In fact they were friends. After the discussion the boys found out rather interesting facts about the leaders.

Leader Harry, Hermione, and Ron all come from a wizard school called Hogwarts. They told them all about their adventures and quests.

How Professor Snape was from Hogwarts as well and was suppose to be dead but magic brought him back to life. The only sad part was that all the leaders are retiring from they're positions.
After graduating from Hogwarts, three of them were placed on the leader court and two of them (Leader Noah and Leader Aiden) studied to get placed on the leader court.

"What are you guys going to do after you retire?" Newt said in purse sadness.

"Yeah-"
"Yeah? It's yes. Correct language Mr." Leader Hermione said with a grin to Thomas.
"I mean, yes. You guys are still pretty young." Thomas said.

"Well me and Hermione are well how do you say this engage.." Leader Ron said blushing.

"What!" the three teenage boys scream whisper.
Leader Hermione shows her engagement ring to them and repeats what Leader Ron or her fiancé said to them.

Engage.

"Congratulations." they say. Both of the leaders nod their heads in appreciation.
The rest of them have their own plans as well.

Leader Harry is going back to Hogwarts to become a Professor or the headmistress of the house Gryffindor. He also says that he misses his pet owl Hedwig.

Leader Aiden is going to become a professor in the school which was Mortal School. Leader Noah was going to leave anything with politics and education and was going to spend the rest of his years with his family.

"Who's going to take your place?" the boys say in empathy.
"Five leaders will be chosen by the book of life. It's on its hands." Leader Aiden says.

The three boys throw themselves at them and sobs. "We're going to miss you Leaders." they mutter as hot streams tears come down their cheeks.
"Please. Call us friends." Leader Noah says to them.

Friends. That's all they ever were. After so many years of being scowled from them (aka The Five Leaders) because of running in the hallways or turning Professor Ms. Ava into a rat on accident or spilling marbles on the National Science Fair on accident and causing all the judges to fall. After fleeing from their commands. Friends. They were friends. Playing with Friend Ron's rat all over the school, Friend Harry and that magical broom of his, flying everyday at night to see the stars. To be free for once. The pure fresh wind chipping on this faces. They were all along friends.

"Thank you, friends." the boys muttered.

There was only a moment of silence.

Only pure, silence as you heard an owl howl from the distance. It was a white snowy owl.

Carrying a white envelope in its claws.
