I watched the roses
As their petals fell to the ground
'Cause everything beautiful
Can't always be around
I watched the sunset
As I thought about your eyes
So bright and beautiful
And as blue as the sky
And now you're gone
And I can still hear your voice
And now you're gone
And I have no choice but to miss you
Tonight
I watched the flowers
As they bloomed
It reminded me on that night
Way back in June
I held you closely
As you whispered in my ear
Your breath was warm
So soft and so near
And now you're gone
And I can still hear your voice
And now you're gone and I have no choice but to miss you
Tonight
And I know your never coming back
And my heart doesn't feel intact
But you're where you wanted to be
Up in the stars, I'm glad you're happy
I know you'd want me
To move on somehow
But it's so hard
With you gone now
But I'll do it for you
As your final wish
I'll remember your touch
And I'll remember your kiss
I'll tell your story
And I'll share this song
Your voice may fade
But your legacy will go on
