After one week, it was finally Wednesday, and I can see Abby now, properly. I woke up at 9:00am, grabbed a pair of clean black boxers and went to shower and shave. I threw my clothes in the hamper in my ensuite and got in the shower. After about ten minutes I got out, got dressed in my boxers, grey sweatpants from American Eagle, and a navy blue, V-neck t-shirt. I went downstairs and was greeted by Mom and my adorable German Shepard, Rex. He was my pal, and loved Abby as much as I did. She was his family as much as she was mine.
Mom handed me a plate of scrambled eggs and bacon and tossed Rex another piece of bacon.
"You look awfully chipper this morning. You're still grounded, you know," Mom said with a smile on her face.
"Yeah, I know. But, it's been a week. That means I get to see Abby." I had a shit-eating grin on my face. Mom just looked at me funny with one eyebrow raised.
I shrugged, finished my breakfast, and gave Rex a quick pat before going back upstairs to my room, taking the stairs two at a time. I grabbed my phone and wallet just in case and sprinted back down the stairs, skipping the last two. I jogged to the door, shouting a quick 'bye to Mom, telling her I was going to be at Abby's all day, and went out the door. I went across our yards and walked through Abby's door. I could here arguing in the kitchen and followed the voices.
"It's just breakfast for gods' sake! Pick something so I can eat!" I could hear the voice of Abs dad - Johnathan - ringing through the house. I heard Abby's mom - Nikole - huff in exasperation and then the sound of pans banging through the house filled the air. I walk into the kitchen to see John about to leave and Nikki making eggs like Mom had this morning, but an annoyed look was gracing Nikole's face.
"Hey, Niks. John," I greeted with a smile, trying to act as if I hadn't just heard the end of their argument.
"Oh, hello, dear." Nikki stopped what she was doing to give me a hug, but went back to cooking breakfast.
"Hey there, son." John and I bro-hugged, patting each other on the back. These guys were my second set of parents. They loved me like their own.
"Abbigail is still asleep. Would you like to have some breakfast while you wait?"
"Actually, Nikole, I was hoping I could wake her up?" I turned my statement into a question, raising my eyebrows, hoping that she would approve.
"Oh, go ahead, sweetie. It is a Wednesday. She shouldn't sleep in on weekdays."
"Thanks Nikki!" I gave her a quick kiss on the cheek and ran up the stairs, opening the door to Abby's room.
She was curled on her side, facing the middle of the room. The blankets were half on her, half on the floor, and her head wasn't on the pillow. I couldn't resist. Especially after I realized my feelings for her.
I climbed into bed behind her and pulled her into my chest, and when she subconsciously snuggled into me a goofy smile graced my face. I was spooning her like we've done the many times one of us has slept over, and I always thought this was the comfiest position to ever be in, with Abby snuggled up to my body, me wrapping around her with her head on my arm, and my leg thrown over both of hers.
I closed my eyes and kissed the top of her head, then her cheek. She stirred in her sleep but didn't open her eyes. The only way I could tell she was awake was the change in her breathing. It changed from deep and slow, to shallower and quicker.
"You can't fool me. I know you too well, Abbigail." My voice was husky and low, and her breath caught in her throat as I said her name in her ear. I smirked but didn't let her know I heard that. Her eyes flickered open and she smiled lightly at me, her eyes tired.
"I have tricks of my own." She gave me a small smirk and a wink and rolled over so her chest was against mine. I could feel her pyjamas against my arms. She was wearing a blue tank top and black sleep shorts. Her hair was a mess and she didn't have any makeup on. She was even more breathtaking than she was when she got all dressed up.
I looked into her dark chocolate brown eyes, reading her like an open book. She had a lustful look about her, with dilated pupils and her bottom lip bitten between her teeth. Surprised passed through my face as I realized her possible feelings towards me, but I chalked it down to probably remembering what happened on her date on Friday. Or possibly a dream she was having. When the thought of Abby having a dirty dream went through my mind, my little buddy downstairs got a little excited and my cheeks flushed. I almost never blushed. Abby was the only who has made me blush, and now the only one who could make me hard without trying.
Dear god, I am so whipped for my best friend. This is getting bad. Abs noticed the flush in my cheeks but, thankfully, not the excitement going on downstairs. She gasped under her breath and started to scoot farther away from me, about to get up. But I didn't want this to end so soon so I pulled her closer, snuggling into her while she gave up the struggle and buried her head in my neck. I could feel her breath as she breathed me in and sighed, content. I put my face in her hair and breathed in her scent of strawberries and raspberries, happy to just stay here forever. I threw my leg over hers again and pulled her as close as possible, but tensed when I realized she could feel my dick pressing against her leg. She must have realized why my muscles tensed up and patted my chest.
"It's okay, it's nothing I haven't seen or felt. I have woken up pressed against you, before," Abs reminded me, referring to the morningwood I always got. I flushed again and just pulled her closer, burying my face deeper into her neck.
I groaned, "Yeah, yeah, yeah. As long as you don't know the reason," I said begrudgingly.
Abby looked up from my neck, pushing back slightly to look at me. My pupils were blown wide with lust for her and my neck and cheeks flushed. My shirt was rumpled a bit and my hair mussed.
"What's that supposed to mean?" I only blushed harder and pulled her back to me, not responding to her.
