The Turtlelight Saga: Breaking Shore

I turned around and looked at my reflection in the full-length mirror. It was my wedding day, and I smiled at the delicate white seaweed dress with seashell accents that I was wearing.

My thoughts were as followed:

1) Turtles don't get married.

2) He looks horrible in a suit.

3) I'm only doing this so I can get some.

Talice entered my room.

'She looks disgusting.' She thought and I smiled. Our friendship was honest and unbreakable.

Turtle took me to Isle Tesme; a pretty, lettuce field off the coast of Trazil. Turtle broke the house trying to control the urge for a leaf of the green vegetable.

One thing I was sure of when we were there: I was late...

...for my trip to Talaska.

I had the jitters while we waiting for the egg to hatch. My heart was beating so hard that my entire body ached from head to toe.

The egg shook, and a crack formed. Turtle held my hand as more cracks formed, until the egg shell broke apart, revealing the little creature inside.

It had a face like a turtle. All seemed normal. Its shell was a beautiful shade of green, like an emerald... Uh... Hold up... WTF? Why does it have lettuce legs? Yes, my child's torso was a green leafy vegetable. FML.

'Is it meant to look that ass ugly? Guess it takes after its mom.' I could feel Talice's love in her tone.

We named her Trentesmee. The ugliest name we could think of.

As soon as Tacob saw her he screamed, "I'm meant to imprint on this shit????"

"It's on the script!" I hissed back.

Jacob said, "The things I do for these diggas."

Turtle had changed me into a Vampurtle during the hatching of our child. The Tullens warned me that I would not be able to stand the desire of crunching a lettuce leaf between my... teeth...? (Beak? Ugh, anyway, I’m a turtle. We’re known for our awkwardness, not smartness.)

Unfortunately, Torks had loads of lettuce farms; population 50,000. Since the Tullens are meat-arians so instead of lettuce, they feed on rabbits. That cute lil’ bunny is now my breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bon appétit!
