House Warming Party

Laylay POV

It been the best 5 months ever. We moved into our new house, and Quincy is the best man that I ever known. I love this man with all my heart. His kids love me and my kids love him. Reagan calls him daddy now. That's a wonderful thing to see happen. But as of right now, Im getting Reagan and Italy ready and dressed for our house warming party. 

Me:" Babe, did you get the boys ready."

Quincy:" Yea."

After I got the girls ready, I went brought them downstairs where my mom was. I sat them down and they went running in the play room that's connected to the kitchen. I went in the kitchen and went washed my hands and helped my mom with the food. 

Sophia:" Wow, my baby girl you is glowing."

Me:" What you mean mom."

Sophia:" Your happy baby."

Me:" I know mom, Quincy is the best man that I ever had. He treats me with respect. He treat the kids like their his own and I do the same. I love this man with all my heart, and I see myself with him til we grow old and die."

Sophia:" Awwww baby."

Quincy:" Awwww babe, I just heard everything you said. I love you with all my heart."

Me:" I love you too baby."

We kissed and he went in the backyard were all the kids and my step father were. While we were cooking, the door bell was ringing. 

Me:" Who is it."

Karlie:" Its us."

I opened the door and gave her the biggest hug ever. 

Me:" I miss you guys so much."

I gave everybody a hug and collected the gifts. I shut the door and now its time to get the party started.

5 hours later.....................................................................................................................

We were dancing, talking, and eating. The music stop and we looked towards the stage. 

Quincy:" Laylay can you come up here."

I gave my mom my drink and went walked up the steps to get on the stage. Quincy wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed me. 

Quincy:" We would like to thank everyone for coming and celebrate us with the purchase of our new house. Bae do you wanna say anything."

Me:" No thank you."

Quincy:" Well I have something else to say."

Once I seen Quincy get on one knee and holding my hand, I started to tear up. Tears started rolling down my eyes.

Quincy:" Laylay, you have been the best woman to me. You treat me like the king I am. I love your kids like their mines. Even though Reagan didn't have her father in her life, I stepped in and filled that hole in her heart. Im glad we met at the ice cream parlor. You make my life complete, your the only one for me, I cant picture myself without you, I know God has put us together for a reason. I love you so much. When I met you I could not have imagined what our relationship would evolve into, or how much you could mean to me, although from the second I met you, I knew that you were very special. Now I know how very special you really are and I'm so in love with you. You've taken me to a place that I couldn't have believed possible. Let's continue this forever, building the perfect life, and growing old together. I'll be your knight in shining armor, there to protect you from all that life can throw at you. I'm happy every day with you, I have energy every day like I never had before. I thank god every day that he put us together Ima love you like you never been love before. You is all I need in a woman. I will forever take care of you and no matter what happens, I will always support you. I never ever thought that I will start feeling in such a way. Let me continue this forever. I will make your life perfect. Please provide me the privilege of being your life partner. So with this being said, Laylay Marie Jones, will you marry me?????"

Me:" Yes, yes, yes, yes baby I'll marry you!!!!!!!!!"

He slide the ring on my finger and we kissed. I gave him a couple pecks and he picked the mic up to say something else.

Quincy:" Im getting married y'all!!!!!"

Everybody clapped for us and we started back dancing. I can't believe that I'm getting married. After all that I been through, a good man came swept me off my feet and treated me like a queen I am. We partied some more til the kids got tired. Everybody helped us clean up and they left. I went bathe the girls, while Quincy got the boys. I put the girls in their room and I went got in the shower myself. After I got out, I put my clothes on and went climbed in bed with my fiancee. 

Me:" Good night baby."

Quincy:" Good night to you too."

We kissed then went to sleep.
