Reunited

Laylay POV

Hey everyone,  life been different lately. August and I is not together anymore, he decided to go back and fix things with Karlie. Fiz and I are coparenting Reagan now, and Quincy and I are trying to fix things, We are taking our time, so that he can trust me again. I had the baby, she is beautiful, her name is Aliyana Grace Alsina. August come get her and Mega-Noel sometimes and on weekends. But as of right now, I have a date tonight with Quincy. I hoped out the shower and curled then pin my hair up. After that, I was fina put my dress on til I heard the door bell. I walked downstairs and looked through the peep hole and it was Quincy. I had opened the door and let him in. 

Quincy:" Hey, I see you not dressed yet."

Me:" I'm so sorry Q, as soon as you called me and said that you was on your way, I woke up."

Quincy:" It's ok."

He came in and I shut the door. He sat down on the couch and I went upstairs to go put my clothes on. After I got myself situated, I came downstairs. 

Quincy:" Damn Lay, your still beautiful as always."

Me:" Thanks Quincy."

We left out the house and I locked the door. He helped me in the car and we zoomed off. It was nothing but silence in here, all you can hear is the radio. We made it to the restaurant and he gave the valet his keys then he came helped me out the car. We walked in and it look very fancy in here. 

Hostess:" How may I help you two lovely people??"

Quincy:" Reservations for Quincy Combs."

Hostess:" Right this way sir."

She grabbed the menus and walked us to our table. We sat down and we order our food and our drinks. Then she left to go get our drinks.

Quincy:" What you been up too lately???"

Me:" Nothing much but working, going to school, and taking care of the kids. Reagan and Mega-Noel always ask about you."

Quincy:" Oh ok, Im go have to come see them one day."

Me:" Yea, what about you??"

Quincy:" Working and taking care of Ryan and Italy."

Me:" How those 2 bad butts doing???"

Before he said something, the woman came with our food. We said grace then ate. 

Quincy:" They are doing fine, but running me crazy lol. Italy forever asking about you and Reagan."

Me:" Awwwww, y'all should come over tomorrow. I'll cook something for the kids and us."

Quincy:" Sure, thats a plan."

We continued talking and eating. When we got done, he paid the bill and we left. When we stopped at the red light, he grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers. The light turned green and he pulled off. 30 minutes later, we made it to my house. He turned his car off and we both got out. He walked me to my door and I opened it, then we went in. 

Me:" You can sit if you want, Im going upstairs to change."

I went changed into some spandex shorts and a spaghetti string shirt. I came back downstairs to the living room where Quincy is. 

Me:" Want something to drink?? I have beer, wine, soda, juice, and water."

Quincy:" Wine a be fine."

I brought a wine bottle with 2 wine glasses. I sat them on the table and then I poured our glasses. I turned on a movie and we started drinking. Throughout the movie, Quincy turned and looked at me. 

Quincy:" Lay, can I be honest with you about something??"

Me:" Sure."

Quincy:" I miss you like hell. When you told me that, I was heartbroken. I was really hoping for another child. Throughout the months, I always look at our pictures that are in my phone. I miss you Lay Lay, I miss us."

The tears started rolling down my eyes. 

Me: " I feel the same way too. Im sorry for what I put you through. I really am."

I hugged him and cried my eyes out. I raised up and kissed him. He kissed me back and it was on and poppin.
