Katie's POV:
I thought about if I liked Gavin or not all the way home. Once I made up my mind that I didn't know how I felt for Gavin, my house came into view. I grabbed the keys out of my pocket and inserted the key into the door hole and turned the knob.
As I walked in I feel a hard hand slap my cheek. I fell down on the ground clutching my cheek. "WHERE WERE YOU?!!" I looked up at my mom tears in my eyes. "I-I was just out with a friend...."
"You need to ask me for permission!" She yelled. She was probably drunk again have one of her angry tantrums. She pulled my hair and I started screaming and tried to push her hands away. She slapped me again and stepped away. "Next time ask permission." She spat.
When she walked away I ran to my room and slammed the door, bursting into tears. I walked to my bathroom and got my blade and sat down against the wall and sliced my arm five times while crying.
'Why does my life have to be so fucked up?...."
