chapter 13

-Maya POV

I grab my coat and my house keys, since my Aunt Gina went to go take Nancy to one of her little toddler friends house. Honestly they barley got here like a few weeks ago and they probably already have more friends than I do. As i go for the door I look at the mirror that's in the far corner to make one quick check I stare at my reflection and become more confident. Fore the person that is staring back at me seems to look pretty good. 

After I was done admiring myself i go on and close the door behind me and lock it, making my way to the park which is where me and Michael agreed to meet at today in the afternoon. Since i have no car to go on I have to walk which i don't mind because i could really use it ive been feeling kind of stressed out and it's a nice day to go for a walk. It's also not so far maybe i can make it in like 15 minutes. 

Walking and admiring the beautiful palm trees in Cali, i see kids playing with their soccer balls and eating some cold refreshing popsicles. 

HONK!!!  " Watch where you're going lady!" i seemed to get surprised and feel anger build up on me i look down and see that i was in the sidewalk the whole time so this person that just yelled at me is eathir dumb or they are drunk because obviously i am watching out!

"Hey look punk i was walking on the sidewalk so i have no idea what you are t-" as i'm saying these words i turned around so I could see the person in the car. but i stop my rant as i see that it was Michael playing games. i grow embarrassed and I feel my face get even more red not just of anger but embarrassment. "Michael you little butt head" he just burst out in giggles which turns into a full on laugh. His laughter is to contagious which makes me start laughing myself.  

"you should have seen your face May" he tries to say through laughter. "be quiet Mike oh my... why you playing games!!" his laughter fades after a while "May im not playing no games" he responds obviously he takes it literal i just slap my hand on my head, which hurts like shit "oww" once again Michael notices as he starts laughing once again. why would i try to face palm myself, that shit hurt maybe i slapped my face to hard. anyways after alot of embarrassing moments happend and Michael making fun of me. He offers me a ride.

"common May get in!" he says through a smile 

"i want to walk though you come out" i say making the same smile 

"okay....but what if i get recognized i didn't bring a disguise this time" he says 

"Mike let's take some risks it will become a great adventure common" 

"okay" he says smiling with a lot of excitement. He gets out the car and thanks Bill for the ride "sure thing what time should i come pick you up?" bill says "umm ill give you a call" once he says that the driver takes off.

"anyways let's get mov- OH MYY HELPP!" Michael says as i burst out in laughter, fore he was about to walk but he tripped on a rock since he has some fast reflexes he was able to catch himself but that still caused me to laugh he looks so scared and cute at the same time. I don't even help him fore i was laughing to hard to even talk I couldn't help myself , I was even about to fall. 

"oh be quiet May i did that on purpose" Mike says kind of embarrassed 

" hahah ookay Mike sure you did" i say still giggling

"lets just go" he says with a playful smirk

"Don't push me MAy!! AAAAAAAAAA!" Mike says

We were in the park walking but we seen the playground was empty so we decided to go and we seen a slide that was pretty big it looked kind of scary Michael raced me to it he obviously beat me. But he was taking so long to go down just so i could get impatient. so I pushed him off causing him to scream. i then followed along.

"May why you push me" he asks with a pout 

Gosh he is so adorable

"sorry Mike" i hug his waist making him smile

we kept having fun and playing around later a few kids came and we played with them as well and to my surprise nobody really recognized Michael since not many grown ups were at the park only kids.
