he smokes-liam

"hey baby." Liam says, with his back towards you as you walk toward him.

"hey." You link arms with him before he turns around and huffs a breath of smoke in the air. Some goes in your face and thick smoke fills your lungs and nostrils. Your throat closes up and you suddenly can't breathe.

Liam throws the cigarette out his mouth and diminishes the flame under his sneakers.

"(Y/N) what's wrong!?" Liam yells grabbing your arms and pulling you up.

"I-I have a-a-a-asthma." You manage to spit out before Liam hauls your crumbling body over his back and runs inside.

"I-inhaler." You sputter pointing to the kitchen. He races in there and to the drawer your are pointing to. He looks through the drawer and pulls out a blue and gray inhaler. You haven't used it in forever so this unexpected outburst scared you, and you didn't even knew Liam smoked.

He sits you on the counter as you hold your hand up to your throat and rub at it gasping for air.

"I know baby, hold on." Liam reassures you as he fumbles with it.

Finally shaking the inhaler he puts it up to your mouth and you breathe in and out, then hold your breathe. When it was done you finally spoke up. "Thank you." you croak pulling Liam's shaky body in a hug and burying your face in his neck.

"No problem, I'm sorry babe. I'll stop smoking, i'll try my hardest for you." He promises as he lifts your chin up with his forefinger and gingerly places kisses on your nose and lips.
