{Hi guys! New Luke fanfic! I'm still writing The Way To You so don't worry but enjoy(: }
"Quinn! Hurry up! You're going to be late sweetie!" My mothers voice called from downstairs. I groaned before climbing out of my bed, rubbing my eyes to clear my vision. I pulled open the blinds, the autumn leaves falling in front of my window. I slipped on my navy vans, a pair of distressed, pale jeans and red varsity jacket. I gave my brown hair a quick brushing, watching it fall in thick waves down my back. Rimming my bright green eyes with charcoal eyeliner and applying a thin layer of mascara, I finished off my simple look with a pale pink lip gloss. Satisfied with my appearance, I grabbed my backpack off my bedroom floor and slung it over my shoulder before heading downstairs for some breakfast before school.
"Morning mom," I said as I entered the kitchen, my mom setting down a heaping plate of eggs and bacon in front of my little brother, Andrew. Even though he's only ten, he eats like a pig. I went for the healthier option and grabbed an apple out of the bowl on the counter, before sitting down on a stool.
"Hey sweetie. When's Maddie picking you up?" My mom asked, just like every morning. Before I could respond, a car horn honked outside.
"Right now. Bye mom. Bye Andrew." I said. My best friend Maddie was parked in my driveway, blasting the radio. Her long blonde hair swayed as she danced along, and her blue eyes sparkled as she said hello. I climbed in the car and we pulled out of the driveway, driving down the short, suburban street that we both lived on. Her house was few down from mine, and ever since we were little kids, we would spend hours running to and from each others houses.
"God, I need some coffee. Mind if we stop at Starbucks?" Maddie asked me, turning down the radio slightly. I shook my head and within moments we pulled into the familiar parking lot of the coffee shop. We both headed inside, chatting quietly as we waited for our coffees to be done. When they were ready, I gratefully took the steaming drink from the server and gave him a few bills, telling him to keep the change. As we exited Starbucks, my phone gave off a small ring. I pulled it out from my bag, seeing a text from my boyfriend, Carson, paying no attention to where I was going. Suddenly, I felt myself thud into someone. Before I knew what was happening, my coffee flew out of my hands, landing all over the boy that stood in front of me. His blonde hair was quiffed above his head and his blue eyes were bright compared to the dark ink that spiraled up his arms. Tattoos were peaking out of the top of his white All Time Low shirt that hung loosely over his clearly toned body. A silver lip piercing was being held between his teeth, and light reflected off another piercing in his eyebrow. His eyes peered down at mine, annoyance flashing across them. Is white shirt now had a large coffee stain on it, causing it to stick to his fit body, revealing a fully inked stomach.
"Watch where you're going." He growled, not letting me respond as he walked away, heading into the coffee shop. My eyes widened, shocked at both my clumsiness and his rudeness. Maddie was already in the car, not witnessing the strange event that just unraveled. I shook it off before climbing back in the car, and heading off to school, the music from the radio filling my head.

"Hey baby." Carson wrapped his arms around me, his fresh scent enveloping me as soon as I climbed out of the car. He planted a kiss on my forehead before grabbing my hand and leading me inside, ignoring the stares off all the other students. Carson was the captain of the lacrosse which pretty much was instant fame at our school, and he dragged me up there with him ever since last year, when we started dating. As we walked down the dimly lit hallway, hand in hand, a stern voice called from behind me,
"Miss Tucker, may I see you for a moment." I turned around, seeing Ms. Stromberg's pointed features facing me. As the school secretary, she was always pulling kids down to the office, normally when they were in trouble, but I don't remember doing anything wrong. I told Carson to just go to class without me, and he reluctantly walked down the hallway as I entered the office.
"Miss Tucker, don't worry, you're not in trouble, I actually need a favor of you." Ms. Stromberg said with a tight smile. I released the breath I didn't realize I had been holding and allowed her to continue.
"We need you to give an incoming student a tour of the school. You'll have to miss first period, but it would be greatly appreciated," she said, earning a nod of agreement from me. "He should be here by now, I don't know what's keeping him." A deep voice sounded from behind me,
"Sorry, I had a little incident at the coffee shop." I spun around, watching as the blonde haired boy stepped into the office, now wearing a black Blink -182 shirt. His fingers brushed through his hair, and his tattooed arms were revealed, the black ink curled in different, intricate patterns.
"I'm Luke."
