A Letter

The next day, I left my house to go to the library. I decided to wear a pink silk dress, blue flats, and a blue/pink ribbon in my hair. I put on my hilt so I could hold my two everyday swords. I know it's weird to have an 'everyday sword', but the forest gives you habits, and the town can't take them. I skipped down the platforms made of pure magic. I jumped down and saw a girl with red hair and a fox. "You're the girl who broke the diamond sword." She whispered to me. "Eh?", I replied, "So 'The Girl Who Broke The Diamond Sword' is my new nickname?" "N-no, it's just that, that made you kinda famous here." I stared at her, reluctant to speak. "Don't you talk?" She asked me. "When I have to." I replied. "Well umm, bye." She said before hurrying off. I walked the rest of the way  to the library. When I got there I saw a blonde girl with glasses. "Umm, h-hi. Are you h-here for books?" I nodded at her before browsing. I found a book about a white cat, a cookbook, and a book about blacksmiths. I handed her a bag of change. Then I walked out.

When I got home their was a letter.

Dear Kandi, Lilly, Noble, and Crystal,

I miss you very much. The forest feels empty without your mansion, and uneasy without your firm voices. Not much is happening. Mr. Pomple has another pet. This one is an abandoned cat from the next village over. Noble, Fyers is still waiting for you to return and get married to him. His optimism is quite a thing to see. Crystal, your friends have not replaced your chair at their tea party table. It hasn't moved an inch, Rinka made sure of that. Lilly, I know for a fact that all those little stories stayed right in your journal, though I do speak of them. And my precious Kandi, I'm happy to say that Tom Cat and Missy have had kittens. 10 of them there are. I know that the people of the village may not like you, but you must tell them that they mustn't fear you. I shall have Roger the dove deliver this first thing tomorrow, it is quite late. As always I love and miss you.

     Love, Aunt Greeny

I teared up seeing the thing. "It is a beautiful thing isn't it." Asked Maria, one of my servants. Her twin Claire nodded. Aunt Greeny wasn't actually my aunt, and her name wasn't Greeny. She adopted us when we were abandoned. We called her Greeny because of her green thumb. Her real name Penelope Granger, but she told us to call her Greeny. She had been like family to our servants to. Actually, the whole forest felt like one big family. As Claire would say 'There are no strangers here, only future friends.' She was always right.
