-Farah's POV-
Aya hugged me and tried to calm me down all through the way back to the college until Ethan stopped in front off the gates of the girl dorms for Aya and I to leave. We opened the doors and exited with out saying any word. Aya looked back at them sorry but they nodded and seemed to understand. We went up the stairs and reached our room.
"I recommend you take a shower to relax a little bit." Aya offered.
"Yeah maybe I should." I mumbled.
I picked my favorite leopard print pajamas and headed to the bathroom. I stripped out of my party clothes and stepped into the bathtub. I stayed in there for what seemed like forever, thinking about William, and my past with him. How I fell for his good looks while we were in freshman year in highschool.
He was my everything. My fourth brother, my second father, and my first boyfriend. I fell for him not only because of his good looks, but also for his charming personality. He gave me everything I could wish for, and I never wasn't grateful for having him in my life, until he began taking drugs and addicting alcohol.
He would come over late at night to my house, where I lived alone with my two brothers because of my parents' working schedules. He would cuss me, slap me, and abuse me until my whole body was a mess of blood and colorful bruises. I never knew why.
"You are just a worthless whore sticking up for attention. I don't deserve someone like you, I deserve much more." He would say.
The cycle repeated daily, until I ran away for the night at my favorite park, which was unfortunately close to William's house. I sat on the swing and bawled my eyes out. When it was past the time that William usually came to my room to beat the shit out of me, I called my brother to check if he came. When he told me ironically he didn't, curiousity was eating me. I decided to pass by his house and see what has he been doing.
Just as I approached his house, I was shocked by the scene of the open ambulance door. His parents had worried looks on their faces, and William was being carried on a stretcher into the car. I rushed over to his mother to ask her about what happened to him.
"Mrs. Parks, what happened to William?" I asked her, confused and worried.
"I entered his room to cal him for dinner, but then I found him laying unconcious on the ground. He had an empty drug syringe in his hands and his arm was soaking with blood." She sobbed.
I thought that this will be the end, that I will never see him ever again in my life. The love of my life was going to be gone forever.
I rode to the hospital in Mr. Park's car, which was following the ambulance. We waited in front of the room William and the doctors were in, waiting for any news. After about half an hour, the doctor approached us. He seemed to look at me and my bruises suspiciously, but I brushed it off.
"I am doctor Mark Lumber. Are you William's family?" The doctor asked with a notebook in his hands.
"Yes, I am his father, she is his mother, and the young lady is his girlfriend." Mr. Parks said.
"Can I please have your names?" Dr. Lumber interrogated friendly.
"Robert Parks." Mr. Parks said.
