Not Your Problem! Natsu X Reader

New day

~Your POV~
I walk through the school gates, the sky is cloudy, other students happily chat in little groups while walking towards the main building same as I am. Only, they have each other. Sighing, I smell the air, its fresher than normal 'smells like its going to rain' . My feet carry me to my new classroom. I mentaly groan 'another year, same as the last' my eyes glance around the room settling on a seat near a window. As I settle down in my claimed spot my homeroom teacher arrives, slamming the door shut as he enters. "Hello class, I know it sucks to be here but pay attention, im Mr. Clive and I so happen to be your homeroom teacher this year". He looks around the room and his eyes lock onto my own. "Well" he says "settle down there you're excitement might kill us all". My expression stays the same, completely aloof, this seems to amuse him slighly and he proceeds to call out the roll. As he does this a few names stick in my mind 'Erza, Lucy, and Natsu' with Natsu's name being called it is greeted with a loud voice shouting "THAT'S RIGHT EVERYBODY I'M BAAACKKK'. I turn around to find the owner of this voice and see a pink-haired boy with a scarf and an idiotic grin on his face, dispite his obviously boisterous personality I can't help being slightly interested in his eyes and facial features. Before I know it im staring at him, completely oblivious to anything else. This doesn't last long however Mr. Clive yells at eveyone to get a move on to our classes. The pink-haired boy is no longer in my thoughts as I move to continue the first day back at Fairy tail highschool.

As I head towards my second class of the day.....*shivers* maths...I can't help but be in pain as the yelling of two male voices echos through the halls. Rattling my brain. The incoherant shouts sounding something along the lines of "ice princess" and "pyro" could probably be heard from the other side of the world....
With a thud I'm knocked to the ground with something landing on me and the wind knocked out of me.

'Idiot ice princess and his even stupider cheap punch' I can feel something below me that I must have landed on. 'Oh crap I crushed a girl!' I quickly pick myself off the ground, picking her up too. "Um I'm sorry, eheheh ice cube over there pushed me into ya" I say with a sheepish grin. I then realise the girl I fell onto is gasping for breath "are you ok there, I'm not that heavy am I?" She then takes a deep breath like she hadn't been breathing that whole time. "Y-yeah I was just a little winded" 'oh....that makes sense' I look around and eveyone has gone to class already. "Anyway...I'm going to get going" she mutters and quickly picks up her fallen books, I do the same "hey wait, you got math with Ms. Mirajane?" She nods "cool, I do too come on we better hurry" I grin and grab her by the hand "lets go!"

'Guh did he really have to hold my hand? Then again.....its not too bad....he's really warm compared to me.......'

Natsu and I finally get to our maths class. "You're late" a young woman with beautiful silver hair is standing in front of the class as well as us. 'She must be miss Mirajane'. Natsu is the first to reply, "ehe sorry Miss I knocked over...ummm...what did you say your name was?" *sigh* "I didn't" I reply quietly annoyance slightly noticable in my voice. "You must be the new girl, well you've met Natsu I bet you'll make a ton of friends here" Miss Mirajane says with a smile, seemingly forgetting that we were late to class. She ushered us to our seats in the middle of the class room. Right next to....That guy.

After a while of agonizing pain, Natsu passes me a note. Slightly skeptical, I take a read and it just said -What is your name? :D - I'd forgotten he didn't know what my name was, or maybe I just didn't really care to. Glancing upward towards the teacher I pass back the note after writing my reply.
-it's (y/n)-. Reading the note he flashes a toothy grin and looks up at me, I couldn't help but smile, just a little, at his cheeky, idiotic but....somehow...sweet nature.

I ended up spending the next period passing notes with Natsu too. It was actually quite fun.

Right now I'm heading outside to eat but then "uhh excuse me" I turn around and the guy from before who pushed Natsu into me is there. "I'm sorry about before I didn't mean to get you knocked over" he says, "its fine don't worry bout it" I say. "Really? Well uh I'm Gray by the way" he holds out his hand for me to shake 'he's really quite polite' I move my hand to shake his and speak my name in return. "I'm (y/-" "GRAY WHAT DO YA THINK YOU'RE DOING!!" startled I retract my hand before I can shake Gray's. "I'm being nice and apologizing you idiot, gee calm down for once" grey defends himself. "Oh yeah, then where's your shirt?" Natsu growls, "Ahh crap!!" Gray looks down and sure enough his shirt which was just there, is lying on the floor. He says something along the lines of "I didn't mean it I swear!" And runs off embarrassed.

"He's such a perv, come on lets go eat with my not-perverted friends" again I am taken by the hand and dragged who knows where 'this is going to be a long day...'
