"This week's assignment is Pain. We want you to think about a time when you've been heartbroken, sad or something like that then perform it while singing." Will says.
"Does anyone want to start us off?" Finn asks.
"I do." Joe says, getting up with Jake.
"You two are singing something?" Will asks.
"Yeah." Jake says.
"It's a duet." Joe says.
"Then go ahead, boys." Finn says.
Finn and Will sit down and Jake and Joe get sorted. Joe tells the band their song then they get into their places.

[Joe:]

"That was great, guys." Will says while clapping with the club.
The two boys bow then go to their seats.
"I think I have a great song but I'm going to need your help and maybe Benny's." Ryley says to Ryder.
"I'm in, whatever it is." Benny says, turning in his seat from in front of the couple.
"Your awesome with the guitar, right?" Ryley asks.
"I am." Benny says, smiling.
"Do you know some songs by The Shins?" Ryley asks.
"Yeah. I do." Benny says.
"Welcome aboard." Ryley says, raising her hand to hi-five Benny and he hi-fives her.

"So are you really all cool about Ryley not being in love with you yet?" Jake asks Ryder when they're shooting some hoops that afternoon.
"I don't know how I feel about it." Ryder says, throwing the ball at the hoop and it bounces off the back board.
"Did you want her to say I love you to you when you said it to her?" Jake asks as Ryder bounces the ball to him.
"I don't really know, dude." Ryder says, throwing his arms in the air in exaggeration.
"Why isn't she in love with you yet anyway? You guys are like inseparable at school." Jake says, throwing the ball through the hoop.
"She told me that she's never experienced actual love with the life she's lived. She's only read about it, heard about it and seen it on TV and in movies." Ryder says.
"Have you ever experienced love?" Jake asks.
"I thought I was almost in love with Marley." Ryder says, telling the truth.
"Yeah but she's in love with me and I love her back...a lot." Jake says, bouncing the basketball.
"I'm okay with Ryley not being in love with me just yet. Maybe soon, she'll finally tell me she loves me." Ryder says.
